Tesla shares will be cut

The world's most valuable company has announced its second stock split. The previous split was made in August 2020, when the shareholders received 4 additional shares of the company.

Why is this being done

The purpose of the split is to increase the attractiveness and availability of shares on the stock market for the public. With its help, there is an increase in the number of shares of the company due to the same decrease in their value.

For example

The company's shares are traded on the market at a price of $1,200 a share. With a 12:1 split, shareholders have 12 times more shares (12 instead of 1), but they will be 12 times cheaper ($100 each, instead of $1200).

What will happen to the share price
