News] Video shows crashed plane, vehicle engulfed in flames after collision on I-75 near Naples, Florida
Three people were able to exit the plane, said Robin King, a spokesperson for the Naples Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration said there were five passengers aboard the flight.
The FAA confirmed that a Bombardier Challenger 600 carrying five people crashed on the highway near the city of Naples at about 3:15 p.m.
2 people did not make it out of the plane.

EMERYVILLE – Authorities in the East Bay have arrested multiple suspects connected to recent thefts at Bay Area Apple stores, including a man suspected of stealing 50 iPhones from an Emeryville store earlier this week.
On Wednesday, police officers from Emeryville, Berkeley and the California Highway Patrol arrested three people following a theft at the Berkeley Apple Store earlier in the day.
Police said one of the suspects, identified as 22-year-old Tyler Mims of Berkeley, was the man spotted in the video. Mims was booked on three counts of conspiracy, three counts of burglary, three counts of grand theft and three counts of organized retail theft.
Mims is being held at the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin. According to jail records, he is scheduled to appear in court on Friday. Details about the other two arrested were not immediately available.

An Amazon delivery driver has been arrested after allegedly stealing a French bulldog while delivering packages in a Florida neighborhood.
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that deputies had responded to a report of a missing dog on Dec. 23 in Spring Hill, Florida — about 50 miles north of Tampa. Upon arrival, authorities said the owner told them that her French bulldog, Kali — valued at around $4,000 — had escaped from the home’s fenced backyard.
Deputies said a neighbor later notified the owner that they had seen Kali walk up to a Hispanic man in his mid-20s, who was dressed in an Amazon uniform and driving a white Cheverolet Cruz. The neighbor said the man had just finished delivering a package to a nearby residence, and began interacting with Kali, before grabbing the dog and driving off.
It wasn’t until Jan. 16 — nearly a month after Kali went missing — that detectives were able to identify the alleged thief as 34-year-old Reinier Revilla.

The Ouray County Plaindealer broke the shocking news that three teenagers, including Chief Jeff Wood’s son, were accused of sexually assaulting a drunken girl on the bathroom floor as she faded in and out of consciousness.

[News & Information ONLY] Hillsborough County, Florida.— A sting operation that lasted 90 days in Florida has resulted in the arrests of 123 individuals, among them a church grief counselor, a science teacher, a nurse and a basketball coach, who are accused of various offenses related to human trafficking, according to authorities.
Many of those arrested were people who “held positions of trust and authority” in their communities, Sheriff Chad Chronister said at a press conference on Thursday.
Many of the suspects allegedly believed they were engaging with family members of the minors, offering their child to the alleged predators, he said, but in reality were speaking with undercover agents. Some believed they were speaking to underage boys and girls, he added.
The accused “knowingly sought to engage in sexual acts with each of them,” he said.
Among the suspects are Christopher Barba, a basketball coach, Gregory Pfefferkorn, a nurse at a mental health and substance abuse facility, and Adam Turner, a grief counselor at the Day Spring Episcopal Conference Center

[News] Nashville, Tennessee.— A Tennessee man was booked into jail Saturday morning after his missing wife was found buried in DeKalb County.
Joseph Glynn, 70, is jailed on criminal homicide for the death of his wife, 76-year-old Jackie Glynn, on New Year’s Day, according to Metro Nashville police.
The preliminary police investigation shows that Joseph Glynn hit Jackie Glynn on the head with a hammer inside their Green Hills home, and he drove the next day and buried her. Police say he made admissions.
Joseph Glynn allegedly told his wife’s children that she had decided to leave because she was terminally ill, police said. They became inquisitive when her medical provider said that was not true, and due to other inconsistencies in statements made by Joseph.
Police found her car in DeKalb County, which police say Joseph Glynn towed and hid.
The hammer reportedly used to kill Jackie Glynn hasn’t been found. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office said he threw it in the Keltonburg Community Center.
The DCSO said they found Jackie Glynn’s body in a grave 6 feet wide, 10 feet long and 6 feet deep. They said a contractor dug the hole on December 16 by the request of Joseph for a burn pit.
Joseph Glynn is in the Davidson County Jail on $1,030,000 bond. He also faces charges of abuse of a co**se and evidence tampering. His first scheduled court date is Tuesday morning.

An official with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has been arrested on an outstanding warrant, according to local reports.
TSA Assistant Federal Security Director Maxine McManaman was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, by U.S. Customs and Border Protection on December 28.
McManaman had a warrant for her arrest posted by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, which claimed she and an alleged accomplice named Delroy Chambers Sr. exploited a relative suffering from dementia by falsifying documents in their name, according to Port St. Lucie Police.
The Florida authorities allege that the duo forged signatures on a quitclaim deed transferring ownership of a property in the relative’s name over to themselves.

Houston, TX.— Houston Crime Stoppers publicized Cecilia Hope Brown’s face and alleged crime as part of their search for the 29-year-old accused of taking tens of thousands of dollars over nearly five months earlier this year.
Brown has been charged with a second-degree felony charge of aggregate theft from an elderly person.
The Houston Police Department’s Financial Crimes Division picked up the investigation after the alleged victim asked why her Frost Bank IRA account, with $180,000, showed a balance on July 3 with all but $1.50 gone.
In a charging document, the older woman claimed she hadn’t been a recent fraud victim and that she didn’t give anyone access to her account except for a bank employee named Cecilia, later identified as Cecilia Hope Brown. The older woman also said she never gave Brown permission to make withdrawals.
HPD said Brown is not in custody, and a warrant is out for her arrest.
Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information about Brown’s location and arrest. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477)
