Hi all, I just wanted to take a minute to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year, most of all good health! These days, people don't spend much time or thought on some personal words to their friends and family. They just copy and paste some random message and send it on. Today is the release of the last HHN32 vlog. I’ve really enjoyed doing them but starting a brand from nothing is hard. I really hoped the people that had been with me since Dis After Dark would join me on this new project. But almost no-one had. And it’s a crowded market, so starting from the bottom means getting noticed is really hard. So I hope you enjoy it, and the last 4 shows. Well... it's been even more of a while since the last message. However there is an update.

My Disney Life will be returning next month. We have 3 episodes in the can, and working on a few more to be recorded shortly.

However, when this run ends, it will be the end of the show.

I have never worked on a podcast that has had more feedback then this one, and had more friends and family listen compared to the almost 10 years worth of podcasts I had done before this launched. In that regard, it was a success. But without being able to secure guests, it has been an uphill battle.

Giovanna launched a similar show, backed by The Walt Disney Company for 6 episodes, with guests she could secure easily through their contacts. The fact she was one of the first people I approached about this in 2020 and she never responded and her own version launched a year later are a complete oddity ;-). But even that was only scheduled for 6 episodes, and is another victim of the celebrity podcast boom of the Covid era. What chance does little old me have of making it work long term?

It is also a hard show to put together. Sourcing clips, getting guests booked, hours of editing. It has been the hardest show to put together and least financially successful I have done.

This will not be the end. That Disney Parks Podcast is relaunched next week under it's new title, That Universal Podcast and That Disneyland Paris Podcast as well, will all continue. And their will be a new show coming next year, rewatching certain types of Disney films with guests, not all celebs, as well. So I am keeping busy, and hope you join me there as well.

So, a mixed bag of news, but season 2 of My Disney Life will soon be here via 11-29 Media

So… it’s been a while.

So here’s an update. I am working on a 2nd series. Two episodes are “in the can” and I just need to add a new opening jingle. But I don’t want to just release those. I have 2 more guests lined up. The plan is to release a shorter 2nd series.

Truth is, trying to attract guests to appear on a podcast hosted by someone no one has heard of is as it turns out not that appealing. Which is heartbreaking because those I have managed to get on had a blast. But Cest le Vie. Not even getting on James O’Brien’s LBC show got him on as a guest.

So the honest answer is season 2 will likely be the end for now. It will go in hibernation and maybe one day I can get it back. But you can only take so many rejections.

So unless you have any celebrity connections, enjoy the upcoming 2nd season.

It won’t be the last you’re going to hear of me. Disney Parks & Beyond Podcast, Discover DLP- A Disneyland Paris Podcast and That Universal Podcast will all continue and I am work with 11-29 Media on a new Disney project which will be announced later in the summer and hoping to launch in September.
