LUKE IS THRIVING IN HIS FOSTER TO ADOPT 🥰

"We wish Wednesday" 🥺

This is usually wishlist Wednesday but the only thing on our wishlist this week... is finding Luke a home. 🤞

We know, not many people want an 85 lb rambunctious puppy. He's not perfect. He's bouncy and wiggly and loose and sometimes obnoxious. But there has got to be an adopter out there for this boy.

Luke is VERY kennel stressed in his crate and rotate environment. Yes, we have many residents that have been here much longer... but for Luke he struggles when he is crated or even kenneled.

This is NOT Luke's fault. He grew up in a home where he was never crated or taught much of anything. He was then dumped by his family at a kill shelter for being "too much puppy". None of this should cost him his life but letting Luke deteriorate mentally and emotionally is not something we will ever let happen. 😫

We have tried CBD, trazadone, and Gabapentin. We have upped his walks. We have biked him. We have worked with him mentally on basic obedience commands. We provide kongs and nylabone enrichment when crated. Puzzle bowls when eating. We are trying our HARDEST to help Luke while we look for a foster or adopter. 🙏

Luke's adoption fee was sponsored and he comes with a brand new gift basket of goodies. He needs:

➡️Fully fenced yard
➡️Another VERY TOLERANT dog 60+lbs. Luke is very dominant, bouncy, and humpy in playgroups. He could accidentally hurt another a dog by jumping on them.
➡️Kids 15+
➡️An active owner
➡️No small kids, dogs, or cats. He could accidentally hurt them due to his size and wiggliness.

Luke has responded well to a balanced training approach and comes with an acclimation in home training session. 🤗

Looking for a great new friend? Here's your chance!

Buttons was emaciated when we rescued her but she’s healthy and happy now and looking for her forever home.

She walks well on a leash, she’s crate trained and is doing well with housetraining. We’d love to find a home with someone who has Pug experience.

She’s coming back Wednesday so she will have to be in a crate in a room with other cats unless we find a foster. I have nowhere without other cats. No spare rooms. .

⭐️ Foster or Adopter Needed ⭐️ With a heavy heart, Miss Priss’s adopter has contacted us after failed attempts to get Miss Priss to accept a newborn in the home. She has tried everything the past five weeks and had no success. She’s talked to the vet and pediatrician. There are concerns about how upset Miss Priss is with the new baby. She started peeing and pooping out of the litter box and growls/hisses at the baby. It is not an easy decision for the adopter to make and shes going to work with us so we can find a foster but we really don’t want Miss Priss unhappy any longer than she has to be and we want them to feel their baby is safe. Their home is not big enough to set up a separate area for Miss Priss. We need a foster with a spare room or one with no other pets if she can’t be co nfined.

Prior to the baby, she was super happy.

Prior to the baby coming home, Adopter says “Miss priss was a very sweet and cuddly cat. She enjoys cuddling in your lap and lounging around the house. She is not overly energetic but does enjoy some play time in the evenings with a mouse toy. She also loves back ribs and rolling around on the carpet.“ this is very hard for all involved.

Miss Priss had a dental in the last few years and all teeth removed due to stomatitis. She’s been kept up to date on vet care. Adopter and I talked about meds she could give but she really feels overwhelmed with the newborn and can’t do much more.

Three adult cats dumped in the woods behind a friend's home. One was pregnant and gave birth to five adorable kittens. I'm getting mama spayed as soon as babies are weaned, just a couple of weeks and the other two adults as well. Trying to find a rescue who might be able to take the kittens in. Please share, I hope they don't have to be surrendered to the shelter. The person feeding them will not be able to care for eight cats, he will feed the three adults, I will help with vet bills. Thanks!
