If you take your children Trick-or-treating, make a special stop at a nearby Nursing Home! They give out candy and residents love to see the little ones in their costumes!

If you do, please share some pictures with us in the comments.

You have no idea how much this means to them, and what an incredible opportunity this is to teach/show empathy toward our elderly! 🥹

Logistics suggestion: make a quick phone call to your nearest nursing home for event’s date and time confirmation.

Help Me Remember

O God, when I have food,
help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work,
help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a home,
help me to remember those who have no home at all;
When I am without pain,
help me to remember those who suffer,
And remembering,
help me to destroy my complacency;
bestir my compassion,
and be concerned enough to help;
By word and deed,
those who cry out for what we take for granted.

The enemy is a liar.
It is up to us how we process those lies and what kind of effect we allow in our lives and in the lives of our loved ones. We pray for the opening of our spirit and strength fed by the spirit of God through prayer, reading His word and exposing ourselves, constantly, to His message for us today, and every day, so that we allow healing to begin. Let us be expectant of each new day’s message for us!

Things we can do: Listen daily to Christian radio, talk to God constantly and ask Him for direction and focus, read the word of God morning and evening, hang out with people who freely talk about God and Jesus and truth, stay away from negative energy and influences of people who dont have YOUR best interest at heart. And reap the benefits of His promises for doing so. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. “Take my yoke upon you, and LEARN OF ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30

Springing Forward in Life
By E. Nasworthy

“…we need to spring forward is that we need to get out of where we are and move forward. This can happen in any circumstance of life from personal to business to country to church. There are times when springing forward is the right thing to do. To get out of where we are which is actually not moving at all but stuck in the status quo…”

Our Bodies
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.”
- 1 Corinthians 10:31

“Everything is permissible”, but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything builds up.
- 1 Corinthians 10:23

Our bodies are amazing organisms and God created them that way. The various parts and systems all connect, just like the Universe, and each affect the others.

The Bible shows the value God puts on our bodies. The Holy Spirit lives inside every believer’s body. However, all too often we do not treat our bodies in a way that honors God, or even our own selves. Our lifestyles can negatively affect our physical, spiritual and emotional well-being.

Lets begin to value our bodies in a way that pleases God.

Lets become aware of what we put into oir bodies making healthy dietary and exercise choices.

Lets start to pay attention to what we watch and listen and for how long.

Lets start spending time with God and fellow believers.

What is always speaking silently is the body. -Norman Brown

Bottom line, your body is a temple, and you habe to treat it that way. That’s how God designed it.
- Ray Lewis

Feeling hopeless?
Reading the promises of God and truly thinking about them, can give you the emotional and mental space you need to enjoy life in the moment.

There will be nothing under the Christmas tree this year, that will satisfy your heart. But, God can make your heart new. He can change it to desire the things He desires, making life much easier to handle, as His poont of view is is much different than ours.

You can begin this journey by wanting it, asking for it and reading about it. That’s it!

May the word of God bless you abundantly, as it never returns void.

You can Google each passage to read each promise.
