But after a while, his favorite toy comes to life and says that it's time for them to return to the parallel world to save his lands from the evil wizard Shadaar.

In general, there seem to be two worlds here, a real one in the city of Motorville, and a magical one. And the concept is that in both worlds there are the same people, that is, each person has a reflection in the other world and if something happens to one of them, then the second also becomes bad (or good). But in the real city we will only be in the prologue and a couple of times in the plot, so the topic with these reflections exists for no clear reason and this is only one of the strange quirks of the local plot.
In general, I want to say that the story here is purely nominal, as for me it misses too many interesting topics and develops very linearly. Well, I don't care in principle, you shouldn't expect anything abstruse from such a game, but the characters who communicate deliberately cliched, either immerse you in the atmosphere of a children's fairy tale, where such dialogues are appropriate, or you turn off the game.

In addition to Oliver and his animated toy, Mr. Whimper, there will be two more members in our party: a kind girl, Esther, and a rude teenager (?) Svein.

Well, in fact, this is their whole characterization, Oliver does not have any pronounced character and all he wants is to find a reflection of his mother in another world, simultaneously doing all sorts of good things. The other two characters of the campaign were specially made by opposites so that they had at least some chemistry, but the coolest is, of course, Mr. Whimper, this elf now and then pours all sorts of barbs, irony and clearly does not like to keep his mouth shut, and his voice... you know the very fact that the toy talks in a rough voice of a 40-year-old man is already capable of causing some laughter.

But still they perform their function, and perfectly complement the world. Oh yeah, the world here looks really unique. To begin with, it is worth saying that the anime inserts that periodically appear during the game were made by the studio. So the local style is based on the works of Miyazaki.

Not to say that it looks like one in one, but the continuity is visible. Such a visual is ideal for children's play, which Ni no Kuni is. All that simplicity of the characters and the directness of the plot is specially sharpened for a children's audience, well, or rather for a kind of fleur of a children's fairy tale.

But this does not mean that the authors have done everything to f**k off for stupid children. For example, the hero has a "diary of adventures", and even one of them can see how much effort and love the developers have invested in this project. Gorgeous stylization, a bunch of descriptions of enemies with fancy names (the translators did their best here), some poems, descriptions of locations, and all this is not presented with dry facts, but colorfully described, as if this diary was really made up by a child.

So okay, we've sorted out the entourage, but what about the gameplay? Firstly, this is a classic JRPG with all the consequences: a variety of pumping, limited consumables, cooking, etc., but adjusted for familiars. Initially, we have only one creature that we can use in battles. As the game progresses, we will have the opportunity to tame other opponents, and as a result, up to three familiars can be used in one battle. And yes, almost all creatures here can be tamed.

During the battle, you and your familiars have one health for all, and Svein and Estelle will also fight with you, who also have three familiars and unique abilities. Oliver can cast magic, Estelle can tame, and Swain can steal items.
Apart from free walking, we have indirect control of the battle, in the form of giving orders. That is, we cannot evade or attack ourselves.

В ходе прохождения игры мы не только узнаем незамысловатую историю, сюжетно склеивающую между собой уровни, но и мотивы ненависти боссов к Скруджу, появление второстепенных персонажей, да многие другие необязательные факты, нацеленные на фанатов мультсериала.

Упоминая повествовательную часть ремейка, нельзя умолчать о нюансе, взбудоражившем геймеров во время выхода игры. О, так называемом, чревовещании. Персонажи в кат-сценах общаются между собой, не открывая рта (ну, или клюва, как вам удобней). Подобное настолько показалось некоторым игрокам отвратительным, мерзким, ужасным, из-за чего сил молчать у них просто не было. Интернет, буквально, завалили негативными статьями, обвиняющими разработчиков за отсутствие липсинга. (Это ведь так называется, верно?)

Сейчас же, спустя значительное количество времени, о чревовещании все позабыли. Поутихли. Хотя ор был выше гор, как говорится. Ну, да ладно. Вернёмся к похождениям Скруджа.

С первых секунд игры ценители оригинальной версии заметят незначительные, но всё же изменения. Во-первых, на паузе или в главном меню появилась возможность выбрать удобный способ активации трости. Старый – одна из кнопок вместе с управлением на крестовине, или же новомодный, заключающийся в нажатии только на клавишу.

Вторым изменением является полное отсутствие таймера. Теперь геймер волен сколько угодно бродить по уровням, выискивая секреты. Хотя... здесь вмешивается третье изменение, не позволяющее особо разгуляться, а именно - карта. С её помощью легко обнаруживаются все тайники... Хех, данное упрощение, на мой субъективный взгляд, выглядит весьма сомнительно. Пропадает всякий интерес искателя сокровищ, азарт, коим наполнен оригинал.

После победы над братьями Гавс геймера не выбрасывают за пульт большого компьютера для выбора очередного уровня. Нет. Разработчики ремейка оставляют Скруджа в его главном офисе, радушно позволив насладиться маленькими радостями зажиточного селезня.

Игроку дозволено пройти в галерею, в которой за собранные денюжки можно купить различные арты, рисунки и мелодии, связанные с «Утиными историями». И уж поверьте, чтобы приобрести всё - необходимо пройти ремейк ни один раз. Помимо шопоголизма, геймер сможет исполнить тайное желание детства. Прыгнуть в золото с трамплина, всплыть на гребне драгоценностей, нырнуть вглубь бесценных жемчужин.

По ходу прохождения игры в золотохранилище будут появляться призовые сокровища, которые Скрудж отберёт у побеждённых боссов. Что, в принципе, и логично.

Накупив артов в галерее, поплавав всласть, геймер, наконец, переходит к выбору уровня. Амазонка, Трансильвания, Африканские копи, Гималаи и Луна. Не будем ходить вокруг, да около. Начнём с Амазонки.

Первое, что бросается в глаза, так это поразительное сходство многих мест. Отдельно взятые кусочки местности из ремейка являются, практически, копиями классической версии. Даже враги выходят точно с таких же позиций... Враги, ах, да. Здесь вышла небольшая оказия. Ошибочка, намекающая, видимо, на нетерпимость разработчиков к гориллам.

Вот, что это? Большое несуразное тело и ма-а-а-ленькая голова. Что за мохнатый уродец? Сравните с гориллой в оригинальной игре. Статное мускулистое мощное животное, всем своим видом вызывающие уважение. Трепет. Сразу видно: перед нами царь джунглей, а не его блеклая ремейконутая тень.

Забегая вперёд, скажу, что Утиные сказки: Ремастеринг славен расширением оригинальных уровней. Допустим, в Амазонке, был добавлен небольшой квест по поиску золотых монет. Необходимо их всех собрать, прежде чем Скрудж сможет лететь дальше с Зигзагом Маккряком.

Вторая часть Амазонки также претерпела значимые изменения. Перво-наперво, это коснулось секретного хода оригинальной версии, ведущего прямиком к боссу. При первом столкновении с аборигеном, можно было оттолкнуться от него на трости и подлететь вверх, за экран, ухватившись там за лиану. Затем - спокойно проследовав, Скрудж попадал на босса. В ремейке же: данный секретный ход сохранен, но только он ведёт прямиком к Миссис Клювдии, откармливающей игровыми вкусностями.

Очередным изменением, и я считаю, однозначно верным является «выпил» функции огромного тотема. В оригинальной версии скульптура требовала от Скружа денег за предоставление платформы, что было крайне неудобно. Конечно, обычно все обходили тотем простым триком. Вели до залы аборигена, а затем - оттолкнувшись от него на трости, взлетали вверх, к лиане, без какой-либо платформы. В ремейке же тотем не стали одушевлять. И теперь, геймеры, вспоминая классическую версию «Утиных историй», могут поквитаться с жадной скульптурой, разбив её вдребезги.

Гималаи. Уровень отсылает игрока прямиком к старому мультсериалу «Утиные истории». К серии под названием «Корона Чингисхана». Именно в ней Скрудж отправляется в снежные пещеры и встречается с их обитателем.

Отличий в уровнях хватает, в принципе, как и похожих мест. Но одним из самых ярких изменений в прохождении Гималаев является прикреплённый квест. Скруджу необходимо собрать запчасти для самолёта Зигзага, чтобы продолжить дальнейшее путешествие за сокровищами. Чем геймер и будет заниматься большую часть времени. В классической версии необходимо было лишь добраться до босса, да одолеть его. В ремейке же, собрав все части для самолёта, предстоит воздушное сражение с Гломгольдом, да братьями Гавс.

Помимо этого, утёнок Бабба получил более значимую роль. Если в классической версии он всего лишь ломал стену Скруджу, за которой находились сокровища, то в ремейке же пройти уровень без него невозможно. Кстати, касаемо второстепенных персонажей.

"Утиные сказки: Ремастеринг". Практически, каждого. За исключением самого Зигзага. Он будет постоянно находиться исключительно подле самолёта. Только возле своего крылатого железного друга. А не как в классической версии, сновать по уровням, подкарауливая Скруджа в разных закутках. Авось, Макдак соизволит вернуться домой в Дакбург.

Ещё одним значимым изменением на уровне Гималаи является второй дальний спуск в пещеры. В классической версии, данный проход хорошенько припорошен снегом и не оборудован верёвочной лестницей. Являясь, как бы секретным. В ремейке же - данный ход полностью открыт. Его явственно видно. Никакого снега, да и лестница веревочная есть, спускающаяся с небес.

Луна. Самое первое и главное изменение относится к основной задаче уровня. В классической версии Скрудж находит ключ, а затем - пульт для того, чтобы Уткоробот (Фентон Крякшел) смог разбить стену, препятствующую проникновению в пещеру. В ремейке же, геймер спасает самого супергероя, одновременно, собирая по космическому кораблю пришельцев его разбросанный по частям костюм. Результат, конечно, одинаковый. За одним-единственным отличием.

В классической версии Уткоробот появляется на пару секунд. Разбивает стену и мгновенно покидает экран. В ремейке же разработчики дают геймеру в паре с супергероем немного повоевать. Оттянуться по полной, задавая пришельцам хорошую трёпку.
