Camping
So I want to talk about camping for a second. Cramping I'm the wood with a tent. No electricity, just you and your family or friends and nature. Sleeping in a tent under the stars with nature sounds and animal sounds is so cool.
I think it is so much fun and really relaxing to go camping. I love camping with my husband and our kids. It is so nice to get away for awhile and be able to relax, breathe and enjoy family time. Listening to the birds and animals in the daytime, and listening to the crickets and frogs at night is so soothing after a long day or week.
My kids also love to go camping. They love getting away for a bit to relax and have family fun time. Seeing all the cool bugs, birds and animals makes the kids so excited. Kids nowadays don't get outside enough. So they don't get to see stuff like that all time.
I think that if family's went camping together more that make them less stressed and upset. It would also make for more fun memories. Spending time as family would bring them together more too. Time spent with family and friends and the ones you love is always time well spent.

My favorite city to visit

My favorite city to go sightseeing is Portland, ME around the holidays. Portland is a very big city and they great variety of stores. They always go all out for the holidays. Portland also always have such beautiful lights and decorations. And the tree that the city puts up every year for the holidays are so amazing to look at.
Portland, ME around the holidays is my favorite city to visit. Because Portland also has so many awesome stores to shop at for your loved ones. I love how many different stores Portland, Me has. And the lights and decorations are so pretty to look at. Looking at all the beautiful lights and decorations gets you in the holiday spirit. So every year I try to go to Portland around the holidays. It always looks so pretty and is so nice to see. Portland, Maine's holiday spirit is amazing.

All Lives Matter
So I have been thinking about writing this blog for a while now. I have wanted to for a while. But I was not sure about it. So first I thought about it and thought about it. And I talked my poor husband's ear off about it. So I finally decided to just write it. I may get backlash or bad feedback. But I am okay with that. Because everyone has their own opinion. And I have a good point I promise.
So the world we live in nowadays is so crazy and nuts! I miss the good old days. When everyone loved and cared for each other. And everyone treated people nice, and were respectful to one another. Also miss when people treated the planet will love and kindness.
First off there was the All Female Movement. With females coming out every five seconds saying guys are doing inappropriate things, hurting them and treating them wrong. Or treating them unfairly. I get it. Do not get me wrong! I really do get it one hundred percent! I am all for men being held responsible when they treat females, children, other men or other people bad or unfairly. If they do wrong they should stand up, own it and take responsibility for it.
Second was the LGBTQ -Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning Movement. I am not a sexist, or a hater in any way, shape or form. I know people and have friends who are le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender and are questioning. And it is okay. You are who you are. Just because you are different or like something someone else doesn't. That does not make you any less of a person. Like I said you are who you are. Flaunt it, don't hide it. You are beautiful and amazing being YOU!
Third and last was the Black Lives Matter movement. This movement I get also. I know this has been a movement that has been through so very much over the years. And sadly even decades. I am not racist at all. Please if I'm wrong, correct me. Some people prefer the term Native American and some prefer the term black. But I think we are all the same inside and out! You are beautiful, smart and kind.
So I get these three movements all the way. I one hundred percent do. But like I discussed with my amazing husband and wrote here. The world that we live in now is crazy and so nuts! There is so much hatred, rudeness, unkindness, betrayal, lying, unfairness, unfaithfulness, stress and drama in this world. And all the unkindness to animals and our beautiful home planet earth! I just don't get it at all! We are all the same! Are we not? We all are the same inside. We all bleed red. Maybe different shades of red. But still red.
Now to my point. We all may look different from each other. Or even like different things or stuff. But we are all still the same inside and out! It doesn't matter if you are black, white, blue, green, purple, pink, yellow or even rainbow. WE ARE ALL THE SAME! It doesn't matter if you are a male, female, child, baby, old man, old woman, transgender, gay, le***an, bisexual or questioning. WE ARE ALL THE SAME! We are the same inside and out. So we all matter. The females don't just matter. The males don't just matter. Kids and babies don't just matter. Blacks don't just matter. Older folks don't just matter. LGBTQ don't just matter. We all matter the same! All lives matter. Not just one category of people. ALL LIVES MATTER!
We need more love, kindness, hope, faith, joy, compassion, truth, equality, faithfulness, helpfulness and empathy for everything and everyone in this world. Because All Lives Matter!

Throw Back Thursday

Thinking a lot today where today is Throw Back Thursday. This is my siblings and I when we were little. Crazy how fast time flies by. As I get older I realize how you have to enjoy every moment. Because time goes by to fast. Everyday is special. And you need to enjoy the time we have with our family and friends. Because tomorrow is not a promise. So love your loved ones, sing, dance, laugh, make memories, do something you have always wanted to, and spend time with the ones you love.

Also never stop being thankful for what you have and the time you have.

Why I started Blogging

This post is about me and why I started blogging. My name is Chanel Lovewell. I am happily married. My husband and I just celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary on August 19th of this year. But we have been together for an amazing 8 years. I am a mommy to 4 beautiful and awesome kids. I have 3 girls and 1 boy. I also have 1 amazing step-son, that I look forward to meeting someday. I live in Maine and I have my whole life. I was born and raised in Maine. Once a Mainer always a Mainer.

I have always loved writing since I was a little girl. From writing in a Journal to writing poems. I would even pretend to write books sometimes. I love writing altogether. It is fun, creative and relaxing. I wanted to start my own blog because I just love to write. I wanted to make a blog that is a mix of everything. That way it is not just about one topic but several topics. I wanted there to be something for everyone. And I am so thankful to have an amazing husband. Because he works his butt off, so I can stay home full time and take care of our 4 amazing kids. I love being able to be home with my kids all the time. So in between taking care of our kids, our home and my hubby I started my blog called Chanel's Daily Blog. I blog in my spare time. I love my family, my life, and I love to write. Now I can share my love for writing, my life, my interest and everything else with the world. I hope everyone likes it. Thanks for reading.

Top 10 things to do with kids for free

This is a top 10 list of thing to do with kids for free. There is so much you can do with your kids. Especially if you have to money to do something. But what if it is one of those times when founds are low. What could you do that free but fun?

Well here is a list of the top 10 things that are free and fun to do with kids as a family.

1.) Go to a park or Playground. Kids can run and play. And you can run and play with them. That way you are spending time together and being active. So it's a win win situation.

2.) Flying a kite. This one I thought of because you can do it in any season. Dose not mater if it is spring, summer, fall or winter. As long as it is nice out and you have a nice wind. It will be fun. Also great because it gets you outside and moving.

3.) Do a scavenger hunt. This one is fun because you can do it inside or outside and can be done in any season.

4.) Coloring and drawing. Fun to do as a family. Gets everyone together to be creative and spending time together.

5.)Arts and crafts. It is a great way to be creative, and you can use your imagination to make anything you want.

6.) Sledding in the winter. This is a great way to get the kids and the whole family out of the house in the winter. It is a great family fun activity and also keeps you active in the winter time.

7.) Picking flowers. This is fun and free. You can go outside anywhere you see flowers. Your kids pick the flowers and you can also help them pick them.

8.) Playing kids games, and playing board games. Great idea to make a family game night.

9.) Jumping in leaves in the fall. This is totally free and kids love it. Also makes for cute pictures and great memories.

10.) Reading together. I made this number 10. Because it is free, fun and educational. Reading together yes it is fun. But it is a good way for your kids to learn how to read. It is also a great way to spend time together as a family or one-on-one time.

Out with the old, in with the new

This is a post on how to take an old plain Pack-n-Play and turn it into something new and fun. With this Pack-n-Play DIY moving babies and toddlers will love it. And you won't have to go out and spend a bunch of money on kids play tents. Because let's face it they are expensive if you want to get a decent one that will last. Kids tents that are cheap to buy are also made cheap. So they don't last long at all. But with this Pack-n-Play Tent DIY, it is cheap to make, easy to make and you can design them for boys or girls. And the best part is you can take them on the go.

Here are the easy steps for making the Pack-n-Play Tent:

Step 1: Take your old pack-n-play and cut off one of the 4 sides. I did the front side of the pack-n-play. But you can do any of the 4 sides you want to.

Step 2: Take the 2 poles off of your baby's/toddler's floor mat. Take each end of the poles and put them in the top corner of the pack-n-play. They should fit in the corner holes tightly without sewing it. I chose to use these instead of a metal coat hanger. Because they are soft and you can hang toys from the loops. Also when they get older you can choose to hang glow in the dark stuff from the loops.

Step 3: Take a spare crib sheet, put it on the top of the poles, pull it down around the edge of the pack-n-play. This also does not need to be sewed to the pack-n-play. That way it can be washed.

Step 4: Now you can sew on anything you want to use to decorate the Pack-n-Play Tent.
