As , the Tottenham star and premier league golden boot winner was awarded South Korea's highest sporting honour, the Cheongnyong Medal, for his achievements in football, we, as a football loving nation, this is something very inspiring.
We never know Bhutan may produce such exceptional players too in near future. Further support from the government in terms of infrastructure, recognition and opportunities can be instrumental in reaching new heights in this sport.

As coronation championship ends successfully and Bhutan Premier League about to start, let us also take a look at the stadium. This was the condition after the match. When the organizer can raise the entry fee, from Nu 50 to Nu 75 then Nu 150 for the final match, isn't it their responsibility to clean it too?
Taking inside capped bottles aren't allowed during the matches abroad, but at home, there doesn't seem any restrictions.
Recently, there was an incidence where a coke bottle was thrown at players (Transport United FC & Thimphu City FC). So basically, to avoid such unhealthy events inside the stadium keeping in mind players safety while respecting the game, such stuffs are being restricted inside stadium.
Before we start BPL, organizers should take into consideration of such things too.
After all, the growth of football is a collective effort. Let us all play our part responsibly.
Looking forward for a successful BPL.
