Do you know what the dark vertical line on your baby bump is?
Have you ever wondered why it appears each time you are pregnant?

This line is called a LINEA NIGRA which is a Latin word for black line.

It is more like a pregnancy trademark.

It is not an indication of any health condition or pregnancy complications.

During pregnancy,the woman's body tend to produce more melanin a hormone responsible for giving the skin its colour.

This melanin is responsible for the dark line on your pregnant belly as well as the dark circle around the nipple(areola).

The line becomes darker as the pregnancy develops,it becomes more visible around the second trimester and it is even more visible in light skinned women.

The line goes away on its own after child birth you don't need any cream or medication for it.

WATER: is the best choice so far,it gives relieve from heartburn,constipation and exhaustion experienced by some women during pregnancy.

FRESH FRUIT JUICE: rather than consuming drinks with artificial sugar,it is best you go for the natural ones,you can prepare these juice yourself at home in a more hygienic environment.It is healthier and nutritious than carbonated drinks.

MILK: contains calcium, protein and other vitamins good for the foetus's bones, just remember to take it in moderation to avoid bloating and too much fat.Also,avoid taking it when it is unpasteurized or in its raw form as this can lead to miscarriage or still birth.

COCONUT WATER: is one of the healthiest and cleanest natural drinks,asides its pleasant and inviting flavour,it provides a variety of nutrients for you and your unborn
