Ten years ago today, David Wilkerson passed on to his eternal reward. His obedience to God to reach teenagers on the streets of NYC led to lives being changed the world over. Through that one act of obedience thousands of addicts were brought to freedom, evangelistic outreaches brought thousands to Christ, widows and orphans were cared for, a thriving church was planted in the middle of Times Square, and the word of God was brought to hopeless men and women. He was a man that influenced millions worldwide. We remember the humble man who sought God with fervency and passion as we seek to carry on the wonderful legacy he left for us.

Where Should We Be Looking?
2 Corinthians 4
Good morning. How often do we find ourselves stuck, focused on the here and now? Many, if not all of us, when going through tough times and painful circumstances, lose our eternal focus. We forget, or are unable to fully grasp, just how small our time upon this Earth is in comparison to our lives as citizens of Heaven. Because of this oversight, many of us get hung up on the temporary things, allowing them to distract us from our eternal purpose. This of course, is exactly what Satan wants to happen. If the devil fails to stop us from obtaining our salvation, then he'll do everything he can to stop us, from enjoying the freedom we have, because of it. So we must make sure that our troubles, pains, fears, pasts, projects, and, ambitions; don't prevent us from fulfilling our eternal calling. Our primary focus should be pleasing God, regardless what we may have to sacrifice and/or endure: remembering that these things, no matter how long or severe they may be; pale in comparison to the eternal reward of winning souls for Christ: and pleasing our Heavenly Father. Therefore, we should gladly take on any and all trials that draw us closer to Jehovah and make others realize their need for Jesus. So we must stop wasting so much time, concentrating on the temporal things, if we're to accomplish our eternal calling. y'all have a blessed day.

For those of you that missed allow me to reintroduce myself service. Here are some notes that was taken. Amazing service!

Allow me to Reintroduce Myself by Pastor Roc

God is a god of reintroductions.
Our God makes his greatest introductions to us when we are in The Valley! You can’t see god with your eyes if they are closed. Open your eyes when you’re in The Valley because that is when God moves the most. Acts 9:1. Is it possible that you have same struggles as Saul. Knowing God and knowing of God is two different things. The introduction is often unexpected. He often introduces himself in an unexpected way. Rarely does things like we think he should do them. It’s about having a relationship not religion. It’s in The Valley that God makes his introduction unmistakable It doesn’t make sense. Things in your life that don’t make sense. Opportunities you didn’t qualify for. That’s God moving in your life. It’s unavoidable. When he is trying to introduce himself to you, you can run but you can’t hide! He’s gonna chase you down. Either you pass or surrender. Luke 12:7. Jeremiah 1:5. Ephesians 1:4. When he’s ready to make his introduction and there is no getting away from him. God chose you. He chased you down and it was unavoidable, only choice you made was for surrender. Acts 9:21. You’re no longer in bo***ge to sin, all things gone, new things come. When he shows up everything has to change. We don’t get what we expect but we get what we need.

The Blame Game
Genesis 3
Good morning.
Since the beginning of time people have been blaming others; for their thoughts, feelings, actions, and reactions.
In fact, it's one of the first sins we learn about, in the Bible. When God comes down to walk, in the Garden of Eden, He calls for Adam and Eve.
They don't initially answer, because they're naked, ashamed, and afraid; choosing to hide from God. So the Lord asks Adam, Who told you that you were naked, and have you eaten from the tree I told you not to eat out of? Immediately, Adam blames God for creating Eve.

Then he blames Eve, because she handed him the fruit to eat. Likewise, when questioned, Eve blames the serpent, for tricking her into eating the fruit. However, the truth of the matter is, that neither Adam nor Eve was willing to accept responsibility for their sinful actions. While it's true that Satan lied to Eve. It's also true that Eve desired to be like God, rather than obediently serving her Heavenly Father, in gratitude for all that He had given and done for her.

Likewise, we can see that Eve persuaded Adam to partake of the forbidden fruit. But again we can also see that Adam is still responsible for the sin of choosing Eve's counsel over God's laws.
So although there is almost always, some measure of truth, to the responsibility or the person(s) or circumstance(s) we blame: there is also always a part we play in it. The problem is usually that we're, so ashamed of our actions or afraid of the consequences; that we shift the focus on whatever person(s) or situation(s) share in the responsibility. We do this for a few reasons. One reason is, so we can share the load with someone or something else; making it easier for us to justify our actions. The second, is to get the focus of others off us.
However, accepting responsibility for actions is always more rewarding and draws us closer to God; while shifting the blame only further separates us from the Lord. have a blessed day

Lack Of Faith
Mark 6
Good morning.
Our lack of faith, grieves the Holy Spirit, and limits the type and amount of blessings; we receive from God.
Some of us, are so caught up with, and/or distracted by; what we have heard, and/or think we know: that we restrain the works of Jesus.
Our, fears, preconceptions and disbelief is a major hurdle and stumbling block to our faith and spiritual development. Others among us, are faithless, needing to see everything in person; only trusting in that, which can be seen with their own eyes.
Still others, will base their faith, solely on the transformation, or lack thereof, that has taken place in you. People are also prone to basing their lack of faith on trials; hardships, tragedies, personal losses, etcetera: as if these things somehow prove that God can't help them, won't listen to them, or doesn't care.
So, how do we overcome this multitude of reasons to doubt?
The best ways to do this; are to study the Bible in depth, focus on the nature and promises of Christ, choose to let go of what we think/feel, and place our hope/dependence on the guidance or the Holy Ghost. If we'd intentionally, take these little steps our faith will grow; as we become more intimate with, our Heavenly Father, and see Him working out all things for our good. So let's trade worries, fears, and doubts; in for peace, joy, and hope: by trusting in what we know about the Messiah, rather than what we feel about ourselves or see going on around us. y'all have a blessed day.

The Power Of Words
Proverbs 18
Good morning. In Genesis 1, starting in verse 3, we're first introduced to the power of God's words, and there ability to create life. Then in Genesis 3, we see for the first time, that Satan's words lead to misery and death. So in the first three chapters of the Bible we learn just how powerful, the words of our Heavenly Father and adversary, can be. In today's passage, we also, learn that our words when influenced by the Holy Spirit and filled with love; can create life bringing peace, joy, and comfort: to all who hear them. While our words when influenced by our wicked flesh often spawn; hatred, fear, selfishness, unforgiveness, etcetera: and ultimately lead to death. What's more, our words are weighty and the effects aren't limited, in either case, to only those whom we speak to. They also, have a substantial impact on our lives, starting with; the relationship we have with Jesus, how others perceive God, and what people think of us. We are created in the Lord's image, and the power contained within our words testifies to that fact. Think about it, no other creature in all of creation, has the power to change things, in such a mighty way, by simply vocalizing their thoughts or feelings. So when given the chance to speak, take time to consider your words before talking: then speak life over the people and situations you encounter. By doing this we can honor Christ, please Jehovah, and influence others to enjoy the blessings of obedience. y'all have a blessed day.

Generosity

Proverbs 11

Good evening. There are many people, in this world that'll try to personally gain by being stingy, or taking from others. However, if we were to follow those who lived this way around, we'd discover that almost all of them never obtain or end up losing, that which they so desperately try to possess. Likewise, in those instances where someone actually gets what they set out to achieve, but we'd see that in doing so they lost something far more valuable. For example, someone might seek to become wealthy; but in doing so they distance themselves from God, ruin the many relationships they once enjoyed, and become so paranoid of losing their money/status they don't chance making new ones. On the contrary, when we give freely of ourselves; we honor the Lord's commandment to love others, strengthen/develop lasting relationships, and create opportunities in which to give and receive blessings. In addition, we can also enjoy the benefits of beco.ing more Christ-like, bringing joy to ourselves/others, and having Jehovah open up the store houses of Heaven to supply even more than we could possibly give away. So each of us has been given a choice; whether to give away and gain, or to firmly hold onto what we have only to watch it slip away. y'all have a blessed day

Paying Attention To What Is Said
James 1
Good Day. It's important that we take the time to listen to what others are saying. A lot of people, are more concerned with being heard than what others have to say to them. However, when we rudely talk over, or interrupt others it makes us look as if; we think we're more important than the person we're talking to and/or that we're being judgmental. We need to humble ourselves and be understanding and patient with others, just as God has been towards us. This will serve a multitude of purposes. For starters, if we listen to everything the other person has to say to us, we'll learn some useful things. For example, we can find out all the details and gain their trust; which will help us to give them better advice, and make them more likely to consider and receive it. In many instances, it'll also spare us from getting angry with them, because we'll get a better idea of what their thinking or why their saying what they say. This more complete view, will help us to empathize with and show compassion towards them. While at other times we'll gain valuable insights about our own flaws and strengths that'll help to improve our walk with the Holy Spirit. This will undoubtedly, have a great impact on our ability to glorify Christ and reach others with the truth of the Gospel. So we ought to how learn develop a desire to listen to others, so we can be a blessing to one another, just as our Savior and us, bless each other. I love y'all have a blessed day.

Don't Overlook The Little Things
Luke 16
Good evening. All of us, have probably heard the expression, Don't sweat the small stuff. People say that, as if it was somebody else's responsibility to take care of the little things, or that they'd somehow take care of themselves. However, you can't accomplish great things without working out the finite details first. Therefore, it stands to reason, that if you can't be depended upon or trusted with the miniscule plans; then you'll also be unreliable in the grander scheme of things. For example, if you can't rely on someone to carry out simple tasks and instructions, then you're not going to call on them to take on bigger tasks. You see, it's in the mundane day to day activities that your true character and nature are displayed and revealed for others to see. It's how you behave in these moments, that will determine, if and to what degree, someone will entrust you in the scenarios they deem as important. Our daily walk, is also a way, in which we can bring honor and glory to Christ's name through our faithfulness to be and remain; obediently submissive to the Holy Spirit as well as the regularity with which we selflessly, edify, disciple, encourage, correct, and serve others. When we live this kind of lifestyle it testifies to the righteousness of God, positively influences those around us, and has a profound impact on our lives. So for these reasons and many more, I suggest each of us should major in the minors, proving the Lord and ourselves to be faithful every step of the way. I love y'all have a blessed night 🌉.

Let The Peace Of God Conquer All
Mark 5
Good morning, and Happy New Year to you all. All of us have, or have had, things in our lives that we've allowed to take control of us. These things can cause us to act out of character and/or completely irrational. A great example of this is, the Gadarenes man who was possessed by the demon Legion. Before encountering Jesus, this man was known throughout Gadarenes, as a maniac. He was naked, unable to be controlled/restrained, was out of his mind cursing and cutting himself with stones, and he hung out in the tombs. However, when he met Christ, the legion of demons that possessed the man instantly submitted to the Lord. This allowed the this poor tormented man, the long awaited opportunity, to exhibit enough self control to listen to his Savior. Then after spending some time in the presence of Emmanuel and accepting Him, as the promised Messiah, the Holy Spirit began to change his life. When the pig herders came back with the townsfolk they witnessed a miraculous change in this man; that scared them so much they asked, the Son of God and His disciples to depart from their region. And this man now led by the Holy Ghost asked, if he could leave too, but the Price of Peace commanded him to stay in Gadarenes. So, being led by the Spirit of Truth, this man didn't object; but gladly shared the Gospel message with all he met, adding many to Jehovah's Kingdom. So as we set forth to begin a new year, I pray that our Heavenly Father would create a radical change in each of our lives; one so amazing and powerful that we too can't help but to excitedly share it with all we meet, encouraging the saved and leading the unsaved to salvation through the Blood of the Lamb. y'all have a blessed day.

New Years Reflection
and Prayer.

As the old year ends and a new one begins, take time

Time to remember the struggles you faced,
And mistakes you might have made,
And maybe even loved ones yau lost.
In every year, you experience heartache.
The last one was no different.
And in remembering, find a seed of hope
hidden in yesterday.
Remember how you've been blessed.
Relive when you found unexpected strength.
Recall where you saw God's great Spirit at work.
And know his mercy kept you going all this time.
Recognize his mercy. Ask for his peace.
The peace that pours out every moment of every day
from the wounds of Christ.
Prepare us Lord for the New Year.
Lift us up and place in our hearts,
A renewed desire to know and worship you more.
Give us your abundant grace.
Shower us with your healing love.
May your eternal Kingdom reign in our hearts and our
lives. May the New Year show us once again your
eternal mercy and glory.

And let us sing praises in Jesus name

Backsliding
Proverbs 14
Good morning. Backsliding, is a nice way of saying that someone who was walking in righteousness, has once again began to engage in the wickedness of sin. This transition, means that a person has gone from honoring Jehovah to satisfying their flesh. Or it could be said, that fearing to disappoint God, became less important to them, than missing out on the temporary pleasure(s), caused by their sin. So, how do so many of the Lord's children fall into this trap? It usually starts with, a small compromise or with some seemingly insignificant change. This then leads to, an unwillingness to continue to engage in the principles that kept us focused on Christ, rather than our environment or selves. Which in turn, creates a separation from the Holy Ghost, that makes it nearly impossible for us to resist the temptations of Satan. So the best thing we can do to avoid backsliding ourselves is, start our day spending intimate time with our Heavenly Father, stay in constant contact with the Holy Spirit throughout the day, and avoid people and situations that distract us from doing these two things. Another helpful tool, is to seek out and follow the godly wisdom and council of those around us, who follow after the Spirit of Truth and who sacrificially live a righteous lifestyle. Finally, we must spend more time fixated on Jesus, and less time worried about our circumstances and selves. If we'll determine to take these steps it'll be easier for us to avoid becoming ensnared in the devil's traps. These steps; will keep us from needlessly suffering, dishonoring our Savior, and discouraging others. y'all have a blessed day.

Submit to God
Psalms 81

Good Morning. Many of us carry unnecessary weight and burdens, because we refuse to fully submit our lives to God. We choose to follow after the desires of our fleshly hearts, rather than the righteous path the Holy Ghost wants to lead us down. For example, most of us will needlessly struggle, with the complexities of our trials and tribulations, creating an abundance of heartache and suffering; when all we have to do is cry out to our Heavenly Father, for help. This stubbornness, is born out of our unwillingness to admit that we can't handle, whatever, it is we're going through on our own. However, our foolish pride would see us destroy ourselves and devastate those who love and care for us, instead of reaching our hands out to a our Savior. So just as Christ, loves us enough to willingly die for, our sin; we should be willing to surrender ourselves to the plans Jehovah has for us, and His Heavenly Kingdom. y'all have a blessed day.

Intimate Prayer
Matthew 6
Good morning. When do you have your most intimate prayers? Is it when you're called to pray before or around others, because you want to sound intellectual/spiritual, in front of them? Is it upon the church alter, where others can see your brokenness and comfort you, or join you in the celebration of your praise. Is it with your loved ones in order to teach and encourage them to be more prayerful? According to Jesus, it ought to be when we're privately conversing with our Creator, all by ourselves. I never appreciated the need to pray alone. I figured God already knows what I'm thinking and what I need, so I didn't understand why it was so important to express it in prayer. Then the Holy Spirit, began to show me, how developing a more intimate and personal line of communication would transform, strengthen, and improve my relationship. As I became less self-sufficient and more dependent upon Jehovah, the dynamics of my relationship with our Heavenly Father, also changed. Then as my relationship with my Creator blossomed, and I fell deeper in love with and more appreciative of what my Savior does for me, I wanted to spend more time talking with Him and getting to know all about Him and His desires. Getting to know the Lord more intimately is a lot like, when two people meet and become more interested in one another. First, thay start by hanging out with each other more often, usually in public places. Then as their feelings for one another intensify, they start spending more time alone and talking on the phone, so they can learn all about.one another. As things progress, the two want to spend more and more time alone with one another strengthening the bond they've created and reassuring each other of the love they share for one another. This will ultimately culminate in a marriage, in which, the two become one. y'all have a blessed day.
