Let's talk about workflow today, in very practical steps. Your productivity will be on 🔥🔥🔥

These are the main steps you should take before getting ready to start actually setting up your ads in Ads Manager 💻

1. Technical: Make sure your pixel is installed and pulling data correctly. You'll also want to make sure you have audiences ready to go. Lastly, check your website and landing page to make sure all buttons work and if you have email follow-ups that they're sending. 📧

2. Visuals: create ad visuals with Canva (images) or Vimeo (videos). ⚠️ You'll want to create a variety so that you can test!

3. Copy: write compelling ad copy that includes factors such as an attention-grabbing headline and a clear call to action. ✍️

Once you've done that, you're ready to go into the ads manager and start plugging in all the data and get your ads published! 🖤

Knowing the Facebook advertising guidelines and abiding by the rules when setting up your campaign is a must❗

However, let's say that you followed all the rules, and one of your ads still got rejected. ❌

What to do then?! 🤷

If you firmly believe that you abided by the rules and your ads got rejected anyway- don't panic! 🖤

When one of your ads gets rejected by the bots, you will have the option to click 'review'. This means that one of Facebook representatives will look over your ads and make sure that it did indeed get rejected by mistake. 👏

You care about ROI when making investments, so why would that not be the same with your online advertising?❔

It comes down to this: You don't really care about reaching 10,000k people if they don't convert - and that's understandable. 📈

❓So CAN you track purchases gained directly from a Facebook ad...❓

Luckily, YES! 👏

Before you start running your campaign, you'll want to double-check and make sure that you're tracking conversions with the Facebook pixel. 👩‍💻

Then to the nitty-gritty technical part. There are a variety of ways to track conversions with the Pixel: standard events, custom events, and custom conversions.

What this comes down to is that you'll add a piece of code to the pixel code related to the specific pages that reflect a specific conversion, or you can track it with the related TY pages.

And well - in all honesty - that's actually not all since there are way more specifics and it's a technical skill... I know... it's a lot, and even talking about it probably sounds overwhelming to you (and that's OK!). Long story short, it's just not that simple. ❌

SILENCE 🔕

You may or may not have noticed that we didn't post on our feed or stories for a week. 👎

This is the OPPOSITE of what we preach. We preach consistency and showing up on a regular basis.

So let us tell you why - with details from our experiment:
✖️ We reached -70.4% fewer accounts in the past week
✖️ We only gained +1.7% new followers in the past week
✖️ 14 Followers unfollowed us
✖️ We received significantly fewer DMs

But more importantly, all of our hard work from weeks prior to build a consistent presence that our followers could count on was neglected.

Do you want to create an image that you can't be relied on?
Do you want your followers/customers/clients to think that you will just get up and leave? Or even worse, forget about you? Then don't post 🤓

If you want to grow your business, reach new ideal clients and customers, build a reputable brand image - post consistently. And don't just post to post, post with intention and provide value. 🖤

Your focus should always be on your customer/client/audience if you want to grow your business on or off social media.

Let's be clear. This does not mean that you can't share anything about yourself (remember: you need to be showing up). It simply means that you're trying to serve your audience to the best of your capabilities.

You can do this by:
◼️ Finding your ideal clients' pain points.
Create content that will help them resolve those pain points and be clear that you understand what they are. Relate to them.

◼️ Creating relatable content.
What does your target audience's day look like? What do they enjoy? What are their pet peeves? What might be some frustrations?

◼️ Inform and be helpful.
You can teach your audience tools, programs, strategy, tips, hacks, etc. The list goes on and on. Be an expert and share some expert advice that would actually help your audience.

We've talked before about publishing tools, such as Later, and how they can save you time. Today we want to dive in more about how an automated social media process can help you save time and be more productive AND efficient. 📈

We highly advise setting up a social media calendar and planning out your content in advance. 📆

This will not only be more time-efficient, but it will also help you post consistently. Have you ever thought 'Darn I have to post today'? Save yourself the headache and stress and plan out your content in batches when you have the time. ⏰

One of the most common questions social media managers get asked is 'How can I grow my Instagram'.

Let's start by saying it takes work, 'just posting' once in a great while when you feel like it won't do the trick. ❌ Sorry to break it to you ... But there's a silver lining here, today we'll explain how you can grow your Instagram (organically)!

Let's jump straight into it:
1. PROVIDE VALUE - Ask yourself who your ideal customer/client/follower is. What kind of content can they benefit from? What types of questions do they have? What interests them? THAT'S the type of content you'll want to create.
2. SHOW UP CONSISTENTLY - I feel like a broken record, but this is an important one! Post a few times a week on your feed and show up on stories. The main takeaway here is: keep it consistent! Do what you can keep up with longterm.
3. HASHTAG RESEARCH - Search for hashtags that are not overly populated and that are relevant to your industry. Just using 3 of the same hashtags every time won't get you new traffic. Use the 30 hashtags!
4. ENGAGE - Again, I've heard myself say this probably a million times. But engage with your current followers as well as potential followers! Comment and like their posts and be genuine in your interaction with them!

Which social media channel do you prefer for your business? ⁠Do you know what platform to use that would complement your overall strategy?

Social media platforms are great tools to engage with your customers as well as connect with potential customers.

When deciding what platforms fit best for your business you should take the following into account:
▪️Audience: the users on both platforms are slightly different. Instagram has a slightly younger audience with a higher percentage of female users. Facebook has a large number of users in different age groups, with a generally older audience compared to Instagram.
▪️Engagement: Facebook users tend to check the app daily, but Instagram's (organic) engagement is higher than Facebook when implementing the right strategies. Mostly younger users tend to be more active on Instagram.
▪️Content/industry: Instagram is all about visuals and Facebook is more focused on text (compared to Instagram). Facebook is largely information, since you can provide more information regarding your business such as business hours etc on your page. Instagram's page is more limited since the bio page has a limited amount of characters.

Checking your ads on a daily basis is a must! You pay for your ads so you should get the most out of them!⁠

One of the metrics you want to look out for is Click-through rate or CTR. The CTR is the percentage of times people saw your ad and performed a click. This metric can be used to understand how effectively your ad is driving traffic to the landing page. If your ads are not performing well, you should improve those ads. For example: you can test different types of copy, titles, subject lines, imagery, keywords, and descriptions.

Yet, be aware. This is not the only metric to determine the success of your ads! There are a variety of metrics that you should analyze and based on your goals and KPIs you can optimize and scale your ad effectively.
