We stumbled across these giant ichneumon wasps while on a beaver expedition in Massachusetts last July.

They are laying their eggs directly into the tree. But they don’t make the holes themselves: it’s someone else's nest. Once the ichneumon wasp female detects the presence of pigeon horntail wasps, she inserts her ovipositor into their nests so her eggs can feed on the larvaes as they grow.

The ichneumon wasps won’t emerge from the nest until the following summer - only to die within 27 days.

A few months ago, we decided to leave Los Angeles and camp across the entire United States with the goal of tracking and documenting wildlife.

For the past nine years of being together, we’ve been lucky to witness nature's beauty and its destruction on a massive scale. Our connection to all animals sharing our planet grew intensively stronger, making it morally impossible for us to work for many companies out there.

We bought a camcorder the day before leaving for the road trip, packed the car with as much of our belongings as possible, sold the rest, et voila!

Our convictions regarding animal welfare have always been very strong, and only got stronger after witnessing years of neglect and improper management. This channel is meant to document our travels and the animals we encounter - but always showing it as it is. Some will be wild and free, others suffering a cruel fate often inflicted by humans.

We will take you across the world in places you might visit one day, and show you the importance of every animal in our ecosystem, from the most majestic to the less popular one, with the hope that you too will one day do everything in your power to protect this fragile world we all share.
