Just finished E267 of the show. Feels GREAT to be back after a long break.
Put a bunch of work into improving the studio. I’m excited with the progress that has been made from getting sound panels hung to painting some wall to upgrading lighting (thanks to a lot of tape 😅)
The show is now being streamed live in youtube. Took a year or two of wanting to stream the show live to overcome the fear… sounds silly but it is true.

The 35-year-old, working as a guard for a company dealing with heavy machinery in the north of Jakarta, was on duty when lightning struck him.
The man survived, having suffered burns to his hands, according to Detik News. He was initially treated at a hospital, but is now recovering at home. It is believed the guard’s walkie-talkie, which he had in his hands, attracted the lightning discharge.

Now… if the cold or flu was going around you are still gonna be smart and wash your hands etc etc etc… but being overwhelmed with crippling fear and anxiety will not help your health any…

This is a massive problem… but really the symptom of something much darker going on in the psyche of the west.
The accelerating disintegration of the social fabric, and the fragmentation of trust (the ability to speak one’s mind freely with out getting candles, erosion of relationships (the degradation of the family unit), and hopelessness (uncertainty about future due to increased nihilism) are some of the roots driving the change in sentiment.
People not wanting to have children is merely the outcome of these deep seated cultural issues.
And, this worldview is spreading far beyond the land borders of the west…
How do you plan to build a wall to defend yourself against such toxicity in global western culture?

From Will Smith’s latest marriage advice in GQ (evidence of the decay of the west), to a global Psyop (that most of us have been guilty of being caught up in) to continuing down their path of censorship on the behest of governments everywhere… strange things are happening.

Spoke this morning on the podcast how this was a likely scenario. Many govs were reporting the threat.
This was avoidable. No matter what Biden says. This did not have to happen this way. Irresponsible and inept decision by the Administration.
Thankful for all the men and women who have placed themselves in harms ways to help rescue many.

For those that hope somewhere deep inside (as I do) that the Taliban’s promise of “amnesty” holds true… sadly the grime reality is it isn’t true.
released this article from UN reporting and confirming the Taliban are making lists of journalist, judges, military, interpreters, and religious (apostate) minorities (كفار), going door to door, and executing people under the cover of darkness.
Of course the comment section will blow up with someone who says it is peaceful where their friends live—and I am TRULY glad for that. But for hundreds of thousands of people… they have a death sentence on their head. And that blood will be on the hands of America who recklessly abandoned their allies—and then boasted of it.

Biden National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan can’t even commit to evacuating all US citizens before troops leave Aug 31st.
Some estimate between 5000-10000 US citizens still in or around Kabul… if the Administration can’t promise to get all US citizens out… what hope do the translators have? Or religious minorities that likely face death?

A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III safely evacuated some 640 Afghans from Kabul late Sunday, according to U.S. defense officials and photos obtained by Defense One.
That’s believed to be among the most people ever flown in the C-17, a massive military cargo plane that has been operated by the U.S. and its allies for nearly three decades. Flight tracking software shows the plane belongs to the 436th Air Wing, based at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
The C-17, using the call sign Reach 871, was not intending to take on such a large load, but panicked Afghans who had been cleared to evacuate pulled themselves onto the C-17’s half-open ramp, one defense official said.
Instead of trying to force those refugees off the aircraft, “the crew made the decision to go,” a defense official told Defense One. “Approximately 640 Afghan civilians disembarked the aircraft when it arrived at its destination,” the defense official said.
The flight was one of several that was able to take off with hundreds of people aboard, and some of the others may have had an even larger load than 640, the official said.

“Afghanistan has been described as the “Saudi Arabia of lithium,” after geologists discovered enormous deposits of the natural resource estimated to be worth at least $1 trillion.
“The Taliban is now sitting on some of the most important strategic minerals in the world,” said Rod Schoonover from the Center for Strategic Risks, a Washington think tank, told the Quartz.
And the nation’s minerals might be already attracting some big players.
"China and Russia are already retaining diplomatic ties with the Taliban,”and "will almost certainly do business with the new regime" the Quartz says.

Also important to note, CNBC Reported: spokeswomen for Beijing, Hua Chunying, “We are ready to continue to develop good-neighborliness and friendly cooperation with Afghanistan and play a constructive role in Afghanistan’s peace and reconstruction.”
NOTE: USA has been “reconstructing” in Afghanistan since 2001.
Baradar—the new assumed President of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said, “Taliban "hopes that China will be more involved in Afghanistan's peace and reconciliation process and play a bigger role in future reconstruction and economic development.” He added “The Afghan Taliban will also make its own efforts toward fostering an enabling investment environment.” (Stated on July 28th, 2021 as Baradar and China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi met in Beijing as seen in image).
