Time for our second prediction of the day coming on at 1:00 pm the Tennessee Volunteers are taking on the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Citrus Bowl. This is a very interesting game for me because Tennessee is the favorite even though they will be playing without numerous starters on both sides of the ball. Both teams have shown numerous times this year they can play as good as any other team in the nation , but they both also have laid numerous eggs this year. I feel like Tennessee will have an advantage the way their fan base travels plus Josh Heupel is almost guaranteed to have a very creative game plan for this offense

Give me those volunteers 35 Iowa 20

*notable opt outs
Iowa: WR Diante Vines.

Tennessee: QB Joe Milton, RB Jaylen Wright (leading rusher), S Tamarion McDonald, DE Tyler Baron, DB Wesley Walker.

First pick of the day is in for the 12pm match up between LSU and Wisconson in the Reliaquest Bowl. This game show pack plenty of excitement as LSU is entering with Jaiden Daniel's being their only opt out Wisconsin on the other hand will be missing numerous starters. With that being said there's also a reason LSU is number 13 in the nation and Wisconsin is unranked so give me those Tigers 31- 17

*notable opt outs
LSU: Jaiden Daniel's (Heisman Winner)

Wisconsin:RB Braelon Allen, WR Chimeke D**e, WR Skyler Bell, OL Trey Wedig, LB Jordan Turner. C Tanor Bortolini, CB Jason Maitre.

Alright it's time for the second pick of the day we have Auburn vs Maryland in the Music City Bowl starting at 2:00pm

This game honestly is looking like a mismatch as the opt outs continue to be a issue in this bowl season. With that being said I am taking Hugh Freeze to get his first bowl win as Auburns head coach 31 to 21.

Notable opt outs:
Auburn- none

Maryland- Qb Taulia Tagovailoa ( 3371 passing yards, 25 tds, 11 int, 66.4 comp %), Cb Tarheeb Still ( 45 tackles, 5 int), TE Corey Dyches ( 49 rec for 491 yards, 2 tds), LB Jaishawn Barham ( 37 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 int)

First score prediction of the day is the 12:00pm match up between #10 penn st and the #11 Ole Miss Rebels

this has potential to still be a good game but unfortunately for Penn st I believe the difference in opt outs will be the edge Ole Miss needs. I'm taking OLE MISS 38 Penn St 24

* OPT OUTS

Ole Miss: DE Cedric Johnson (5 sacks 40 tackles through 12 games in 2023)

Penn St: LT Olu Fashanu, Edge Chop Robinson (4 sacks 15 solo tackles 2 ffs, and CB Johnny Dixon (26 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 1 FF, 1 int)
Penn St will also be without its defensive coordinator after Manny Diaz took the Duke head coach job

Goodmorning everyone we are blessed to say we have a long day of bowl games ahead of us today and I'll be releasing my game predictions within the hour but first I am curious what's everyone's thoughts on last night's Cotton Bowl?

I absolutely loved the defensive effort on both sides of the ball, I also enjoyed seeing Missouri finally have a little bit of life in the 4th quarter of offense as the Ohio State defense finally wore down, BUT WITH THAT BEING SAID WE must ask ourselves.......

Without having the optouts on Ohio States offense does Missouri still win that game ??????

I personally have to think absolutely not, but nonetheless it's incredible to think Missouri will finish this season as a top 6 or 7 team and they have consistently every year had one of the worst recruiting classes in the SEC which volumes for the CULTURE, AND PLAYER DEVELOPMENT E-Drizzle and the Missouri staff has created. Congratulations Tigers looking forward to seeing where this momentum takes yall

30/12/2023

2 quarters in the Missouri Tigers are trailing by 3. My question is "does Ohio States defense look that good, or does Brady Cook and the Missouri offense just look that bad? I'm going with the latter of the two. Let's hear it

If this isn't on your watch list for tonight are you really a football fan? Tonight feels like Ohio State and Ryan Day still trying to hang on to show the country they are a force while E-Drink and the Tigers are trying to show the nation they are the next rising power in the SEC....

My personal prediction: Ohio States kryptonite the past few years has been physical smashmouth in your face style football teams and unfortunately for those buckeyes that is the definition of this Missouri tiger team

Give me those Tigers 38 Ohio state 27

This is the way bowl games are supposed to be hats off to Kentucky and Clemson for putting on a hell of a game and also having a great enough culture in their programs to be able to keep nearly all of their starters for the bowl game it shows players actually buy in to their schools and programs and not just a paycheck. Wish all college programs still had this amount of buy in

Great story

Great story

How welcoming, how kind was Mike Leach?
Jeff Tyler of Wetumpka, AL contacted me to tell me a great story.
It’s a story that reminds us of Coach Leach’s patience, his keen memory and his interest in others.
I think you will enjoy this tale!

“Three years ago, I took my 11-year-old son to a Mississippi State game.
Jackson wanted to see pre-game warm-ups, so we were practically the first fans in the stadium.
We took our upper level seats, and my son asked if he could walk down to the field level seats to watch warm-ups, and I let him.
Well, this kid somehow managed to convince a security guard that he was supposed to be on the field.
The next thing I saw was my son walking up to Coach Leach and fist bumping him.

“The two started talking, and a few minutes later Coach Leach was calling over a couple of his players.
Now, my son was a center on his YMCA team- Coach Leach had his centers showing my son how to snap the ball!
I was in the upper deck, totally dumbfounded that an SEC coach just spent time in pre-game showing some kid he’d never met how to snap a football.
My kid comes back to our upper deck seats beaming with pride- I saw it as a memory of a lifetime.

“Two years later we went to another game- my son was again in the front row watching warm-ups.
A graduate assistant ran over and yelled, Are you Jackson?’ and my son said, ‘Yes!’
The graduate assistant said, ‘Coach Leach wants to see you,’ and he took my son out on the field.

“Coach Leach asked my son if he’d been practicing, and then made him do several snaps.
Coach told him to keep working on it, gave him a football and sent him on his way.
I was in the stands dumbfounded that a coach remembered my son’s name, remembered that day, and knew what spending five minutes of his time with a kid could mean.”

Thanks, Jeff, for this wonderful story.

I’m asking myself as I write this, “What other college football coach would do such a thing?”, and the answer is, “Pretty much none.”

If anyone wonders why Mike Leach was and is so loved, they need only listen to the story of the coach and 11-year-old Jackson Tyler.

Then we will all understand…

In a snap.

Prayers this morning for Mississippi State head football coach Mike Leach - he was rushed to the hospital over the weekend. He is a national treasure—funny - unique - just an interesting person. We Pray he will be ok. The school has not released any information so far - which is concerning.
