Howling Raven shut down in 2017 but the demand for their products has stayed strong. Hi, thanks for the ad. I just picked up my first military surplus rifle and it's at the gun shop getting the cosmoline removed and test fired. No, I don't feel confident at strip cleaning it myself. I have a Russian 91/30 Tula Arsenal 1934 with hex receiver. I have a box of Wolf 203 gr SP and another of Brown Bear 174 gr FMJ. I haven't fired it yet, but what would be a good, cheaper ammo for target practice and sighting it in and a second round for maybe hunting deer or wild boar? Excited to get this out on the range next weekend...
