Motorola is set to launch its Moto G (Gen 4) aka Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus in India on Tuesday. The two smartphones have been leaked on several occasions ahead of their launch, and now we have one more leak coming our way that tips the specifications of the Moto G4 smartphone via a benchmark listing.
The Moto G4 has allegedly been spotted on a Geekbench benchmark listing, pointing to several specifications of the smartphone. The listing reveals the smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (presumably the Snapdragon 615 or Snapdragon 617, based on the MSM8952 chipset) coupled with 3GB of RAM - which contradicts an earlier proof.
No other details are revealed by benchmark, except for the scores: single-core at 937, and multi-core at 4451. The benchmark listing was first spotted by Price Raja. Other leaks thus far have indicated that the Moto G4 will sport only 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage, and a 13-megapixel camera. The Moto G4 Plus on the other hand is tipped to come with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage, and a 16-megapixel camera. Both smartphones are said to sport NFC connectivity. The Moto G4 Plus is also anticipated to sport a fingerprint sensor in addition.
Motorola has been teasing the Moto G4 ahead of its India launch for a while now. The company is pointing to a much-improved battery, camera, and performance over the previous generation and its competitors
