Top o’ the mornin to ya! We had to stop at the Waffle House before Sa takes his STAAR test! It’s our little tradition 💕
This year was a different because we’ve moved an hour away from his school so we had to be committed to the early wake up! I’ll be super sleepy but that smile makes it worth it the under eye bags 😊

If I must be honest, I haven’t been in the mood to decorate or dress up for that matter 🙄 but I love this little sitting area I’ve started working on. It was fun because there was no dirt, wild animals or cacti (ouch) involved. 💕 😂

It’s Money Monday and we have a NEW BOOK ALERT!! Manic Magee is going to be soooo good! As Sa gets older it’s still important for us to spend quality time. Sharing books is the perfect way to do that. I don’t really pay him for chores I pay for books read! As an adult he’s going to have to do chores, but knowledge brings MONEY and a quick vacay if you’re short on funds 😉

Raising him is my life’s most important work. I cherish every moment we have. On the days he’s yapping and driving me absolutely nuts I think about all of the women who can’t have kids and most sadly the women who have lost their black sons at the hands of the people who are supposed to help protect them.

Because I’m constantly filling my brain with useless information, I researched Levi’s behavior only to be totally grossed out! What an amazing week! Two weeks ago I thought I’d be staying in a hotel until April and getting married at a courthouse. Annnnddd none of that happened! I got married and closed on our house while in Vegas! I’m gonna keep that same “be flexible” energy because it makes life more interesting! The best is yet to come!Cheers to Monday!
