On October 17, 1947 Roddy Moore age 7, waved goodbye to his mother and walked to his grade one class at the Begbie Annex (now Thunderbird Elementary school) at Rupert and East Eighth in Vancouver. At least 118 Seattle police officers have left the department, the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH has confirmed. In September alone, 39 officers left the force when the SPD typically loses 5-7 in that month.
