Showers are moving in from the South Coast

These will be falling as rain/sleet/hail in the suburbs and falling as snow in areas above 900m.

There are currently a lot of reports of hail in the suburbs again. This is a good sign of potential snow flurries to come as it shows that there are showers around and that the hail will start to cool down the air at ground level.

Snow is falling and is starting to accumulate at Bulls Head, it is likely to continue to do so through to Thursday morning.

The cold front associated with the low-pressure system bringing the first cold snap of the year is on its way. It is predicted to arrive in the ACT around 4:15PM.

Snow will begin to fall in Namadgi National Park around 5:30PM with any showers falling over the suburbs falling as snow flurries overnight.
