🌪️🌪️My review of Twisters🌪️🌪️

Before I give my take, if you go watch this movie thinking it’s a prequel or a sequel, then you will not enjoy it. This is a stand alone movie.

Definitely a must watch!! I’d give it a 9 out of 10 honestly. I can’t wait for it to come out & watch it again.

It’s got its own plot which is nice. Thats how it should be. It does hint to the original film quite a few times if you catch it. The science of Storm Chasing is definitely present along with a good amount of terminology which was nice to hear. The use of actual present day chase vehicles was nice to see.

I really enjoyed the realism of the Tornadoes instead of CGI based.

Yes, there were a handful of times that I didn’t like how they portrayed the good chasers out to be. We don’t cut through fields & don’t intentionally block others while driving like it’s a race to the finish line.

There were a few things from a chasers perspective that I didn’t understand & 1 of them is I didn’t know that we activate strobe lights & light bars during the day.

It does show how events can change in matter of seconds & decisions have to be made instantly when we are chasing.

It does have its own “Hollywood twist” to it which was to be expected. Finally, I did like that they left the ending open. So I’m excited! Glad I got to finally see it & can’t wait for it to come out on DVD.
