P4 put’s on a wounded/disabled veteran hunt in North Florida every year on a private ranch. The ranch wishes to remain low key. We can respect that. The whole place was an experience. From ridiculous lodge accommodations to home cooked meals and a staff that felt like family. The entire thing was an experience. Multiple species over multiple days. More to follow.

Pro Tip: Hot Hands one time use hand warmers don’t have to be one time use. I roll mine up and stick them in my gloves when I’m done with a day’s hunt. If you come back to them in 24 hours, they will be like rocks. Bust them up and they will reactivate for 4/5 hours. Warm hands mean better trigger control. Stay Lethal.

Pro Tip: Pure leaf tea bottles. Pour your drink of choice in and remove the label before hitting the stand. You can lay it on its side when not in use, so it’s less likely to get knocked over or roll around in the heat of the moment. Also has a large opening in case you need a spitter or for those that can’t aim and require a bigger target for a small caliber when nature calls. And yes, I know what it looks like. “I drink it because it’s sterile and I like the taste.”

Well after 25 years, Old faithful is getting a makeover. Noticed last year the old Tasco was getting foggy. This setup has taken whitetail, antelope, elk, mountain lion and too many ‘yotes to count. It’s packed freezers, decorated the wall, and protected cattle. When you’ve got a good one, you never let it go.

Had a little uh-oh yesterday morning. The War Wagon is totaled, but I walked away with just a few sore spots and concussion #3. Thank you for their bumpers. The trooper, wrecker driver and myself agree that is what saved my life. It rode a Jersey barrier up and over laying the truck on its side. Otherwise I would have hit it head on and my face would have absorbed the impact on the steering wheel.
