سُبْحٰنَ الَّذِىْۤ اَسْرٰى بِعَبْدِهٖ لَيْلًا مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَـرَامِ اِلَی الْمَسْجِدِ الْاَقْصَا الَّذِىْ بٰرَكْنَا حَوْلَهٗ لِنُرِيَهٗ مِنْ اٰيٰتِنَا ۗ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْبَصِيْرُ

وہ (ذات) پاک ہے جو ایک رات اپنے بندے کو مسجد الحرام یعنی (خانہ کعبہ) سے مسجد اقصیٰ (یعنی بیت المقدس) تک جس کے اردگرد ہم نے برکتیں رکھی ہیں لے گیا تاکہ ہم اسے اپنی (قدرت کی) نشانیاں دکھائیں۔ بے شک وہ سننے والا (اور) دیکھنے والا ہے

Tonight, we commemorate the miraculous journey of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Makkah to Al-Quds and then to the heavens. May the blessings of this sacred night, Shab-e-Mi'raj, illuminate our hearts and guide us on the path of righteousness. May Allah (SWT) shower us with His mercy and blessings. 🙏

Planetary alignments aren’t rare — but 6 visible planets are.

Tonight, you can see the Planet Parade of 2025. Here's how to watch and what you need to know:

Four bright planets will be visible with the naked eye — Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars. For those with binoculars or a small telescope, Uranus and Neptune also become visible, making six planets accessible at once.

And there's more. Comet ATLAS is now visible as well. After surviving its close encounter with the Sun, the comet has a brightness of around magnitude –3, making it a standout celestial event.

Venus and Saturn appear close together in the West to Southwest during the first couple of hours after dark, while Jupiter will shine high overhead while Mars will rise in the east. A simple way to distinguish a star from a planet is that planets tend to shine steadily while stars twinkle. All these planets align along the ecliptic, an imaginary "clothesline" marking the plane of the solar system.

Mars has a slight red hue, which should help you identify it a little more easily. Jupiter appears as a cream-colored light, shining just 5° from Aldebaran in Ta**us.

Raging wildfires around Los Angeles have left five people dead and caused "a number of significant injuries," fire officials said.

"I'm really praying we don't find more [victims], but I don't think that's going to be the case," he said, describing the situation as "very fluid," Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna told radio station KNX.

Authorities said that at least 100,000 Los Angeles residents have been urged to evacuate.

7th Meet of Pakistan-KSA Bilateral Defence Industrial Forum was held at Riyadh, KSA on 10 Oct 24. Pakistan tri services delegation was led by Lt Gen Muhammad Avais Dastgir, CGS Pak Army, whereas, H.E. Engr Talal Bin Abdullah Al Otaibi, Assistant Defence Minister led the the Saudi Arabian side.

During the meeting, CGS affirmed Pakistan’s continuing support towards capacity building of Royal Saudi Defence Forces.
The dignitary from KSA acknowledged Pakistan’s achievements and sacrifices in war against terrorism and its valuable contributions towards regional peace and stability.

The forum discussed challenges to global and regional security and their implications on Defence Forces. Forum noted that rapid advancements in modern technologies necessitated further enhancing defence industrial cooperation in critical capabilities between the two brotherly countries. In this context, progress of ongoing areas of collaboration was reviewed while new areas of collaboration were also agreed.

Saudi Arabian Airlines has announced the retirement of three Boeing 777 aircraft from its fleet. Instead of scrapping the planes, the plans is to repurpose them as a tourist attraction in Riyadh.

Aysenur Izgy, 26 year old American activist with Turkish origin was executed [Shot in the head and killed] by Israeli soldiers while participating in a peaceful protest in the town of Beita, Nablus, Occupied West Bank.

She was targeted by Israeli soldiers during the weekly anti-settlement protest.

She was volunteering with the Faz3a campaign to support and protect Palestinian farmers from violations of occupation and settlers.
