My Story
One year ago, I started Burke Communications Plus because I had toddler + a brand-spankin’ new baby and was dreading the thought of maternity leave ending and going back to my 8-5 job, answering to someone else (or in my case--an entire board of someone elses!) and not utilizing my skills.
So over the course of my maternity leave, I decided to explore my creativity, skillset, and goals. What I discovered was Burke Communications Plus (BCP.)
Let me break BCP down for you...
Burke: my last name (pretty obvious 😁) Communications: I have a degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations. So communicating via digital platforms to mass audiences is kinda my thing. Sometimes that’s through text/copy/content and other times it’s through social media/radio/ads/etc. Plus: this is where it gets more interesting. My creativity wasn’t limited to content and social media creation, implementation, and insights, so I added the ‘Plus’ in order to encompass the design and graphics aspect of my skill-set. Combine all of this 👆 and we have BCP.
