I don't know who the credit should go to for inventing these, but this Christmas Tree Teepee is so much fun! What kid wouldn't love hiding out in there?! My youngest used to beg us to let him sleep under the Christmas tree every year.

Teach them to fly as you soar your own wings!
I did not sleep well last night. Partly due to excitement, partly due to the heartache from the thought of being away from my baby and partly due to the said baby kicking my face all night long!!
This morning, my doting husband was my ultimate cheer squad. He laid out my outfits for me to decide on for my big first day. Look your best, he said. I wore his pick. Of course I got it approved by later 🤭
He was so excited for my big day. More than me. Cheering on me everytime he glimpsed me hiding a teardrop looking at our son.
Dressing up to take on the day did give me a kick. I was seeing the old me in the mirror. Ready to roll.
I was nervous about being out of my A game after a long break of 18 months!
The day at office went well. I was so engrossed, I almost completely switched off from home.
Called home couple of times. Everything looked good. Baby well fed, enjoying his day, napping under the love and care of his dadda and our trusted house help.
But as the hours stretched, I started feeling restless. Lactating. Just wanted to rush home & hug Peeku!
I was missing him terribly. It was not guilt. It was just this craving to hold him close & nurse him.
Came home but couldn’t hold him right away. Spent 20 mins taking the 🦠self swab test as I’ve been feeling sick too! Finally got to hug him and broke into uncontrollable tears! I don’t know why and how.
Peeku looked at me crying and gave me the tightest hug & a baby shark kiss. And my husband told me - you got this!!
Peeku nursed in the strangest positions thereafter.
That’s about it. No poetic end.
This was my first day back at work. Back at chasing my dreams to become the woman I want to be.
For I believe, if I don’t take the flight to my dreams how will I teach my boy to fly? I gotta model it, right? 🙂♥️

Hello... It's been a while!
Life has just been very busy but I haven't forgotten how much I love sharing things that I love ❤️ or find practical and useful for you lovely people!
This lady is amazing!!! She is a influencer but also a businesswoman! is a mum of two, she balances motherhood and a work-life and loves fashion, high-end beauty but she is also very money smart, talks about investments in property and money management. I think this book has been out for sometime, it's only now I'm jumping on board to get me hands on one of these!
I've watched her for years and I am so excited I managed to get her book!

Hey,
I'm Stefanie a mother of a toddler and owner of Freedom of Colours Collection and Welcome Home Mum Service.
I initially studied Criminology at a university. I have a BA Hons in Criminology and I have served for numerous years in the National Health, Social Care and Mental Health settings. From planning complex care pathways to assessing vulnerable patients psychological functioning of the mind; to leading on improving community services to increase mental health knowledge.
Why I started Freedom of Colours Collection & Welcome Home Mum Service.
Welcome Home Mum is a service that create time, promote wellness & care for Women in their journey of Motherhood.
In fact, research has shown that giving birth to a new identity can be as demanding as giving birth to a baby....*
My husband and I moved into her first owned property in 2016. Our friends and family were overseas or living miles away. My husband had to go back to work after our move. I was 28 weeks pregnant and we didn't have our "village" as it said in the books. I was tirelessly unpacking boxes, buying last minute items, batch cooking our meals, and trying to set up house related matters. The lack of a "village" community really affected my self-esteem.
Following the birth of my son, I have since gained the first-hand experience being a Mum and the dynamic and mental challenges motherhood presents. I knew that my career path would change as my life goals had changed. I have always been creative, when I was very young I would design my own room and draw.
At the age of eighteen years old I achieved A level Graphic Design, Textiles and Psychology. Now at my early thirties I am undertaking training in life coaching helping women to positively empower themselves.
As a newly stay at home Mum in 2017, I began a business venture which is now called Freedom of Colours Collection. Designing lovable handcrafted home accessories for busy and tired mums like me promoting their own emotional and physical health.
This has been a magnificent outlet for me but my love and passion is also to assist women to feel empowered in their own home and within themselves.
I specialise in practical, simple house management methods. Practice person-centred strategy enabling women to set goals, settle into life as a Mother and new family.
The Welcome Home Mum service is here as a celebration to women through their journey of motherhood.
