I don't know who the credit should go to for inventing these, but this Christmas Tree Teepee is so much fun! What kid wouldn't love hiding out in there?! My youngest used to beg us to let him sleep under the Christmas tree every year.

Teach them to fly as you soar your own wings!
I did not sleep well last night. Partly due to excitement, partly due to the heartache from the thought of being away from my baby and partly due to the said baby kicking my face all night long!!
This morning, my doting husband was my ultimate cheer squad. He laid out my outfits for me to decide on for my big first day. Look your best, he said. I wore his pick. Of course I got it approved by later 🤭
He was so excited for my big day. More than me. Cheering on me everytime he glimpsed me hiding a teardrop looking at our son.

Dressing up to take on the day did give me a kick. I was seeing the old me in the mirror. Ready to roll.
I was nervous about being out of my A game after a long break of 18 months!
The day at office went well. I was so engrossed, I almost completely switched off from home.
Called home couple of times. Everything looked good. Baby well fed, enjoying his day, napping under the love and care of his dadda and our trusted house help.
But as the hours stretched, I started feeling restless. Lactating. Just wanted to rush home & hug Peeku!
I was missing him terribly. It was not guilt. It was just this craving to hold him close & nurse him.
Came home but couldn’t hold him right away. Spent 20 mins taking the 🦠self swab test as I’ve been feeling sick too! Finally got to hug him and broke into uncontrollable tears! I don’t know why and how.
Peeku looked at me crying and gave me the tightest hug & a baby shark kiss. And my husband told me - you got this!!
Peeku nursed in the strangest positions thereafter.
That’s about it. No poetic end.
This was my first day back at work. Back at chasing my dreams to become the woman I want to be.
For I believe, if I don’t take the flight to my dreams how will I teach my boy to fly? I gotta model it, right? 🙂♥️
Let the working mom life begin! Cheers! 🍾

Hello... It's been a while!

Life has just been very busy but I haven't forgotten how much I love sharing things that I love ❤️ or find practical and useful for you lovely people!

This lady is amazing!!! She is a influencer but also a businesswoman! is a mum of two, she balances motherhood and a work-life and loves fashion, high-end beauty but she is also very money smart, talks about investments in property and money management. I think this book has been out for sometime, it's only now I'm jumping on board to get me hands on one of these!

I've watched her for years and I am so excited I managed to get her book!

Let's see what she has to teach me 👌🏽😊🤓
