The biggest flex: being present with your family.

Being a dad and running a business is tough af.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What does success and happiness look like?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you were to ask me 10 years ago… I would picture a life with a fat house, a sports car, hustling 24/7 (blah blah blah)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But if you ask me now… all of that is what social media defines ‘success’ as.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A successful life time is being able to create balance between family time/trips, agency work, fitness/golf activities, while keep my mental health in check.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If that’s saving up to do a weekend getaway to create memories with your family… do it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If it’s taking a day off work to take your kid to do whatever he wants for the day… do it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For dads trying to balance work and family, it’s a constant struggle. The pressure to do well in business can make family time take a backseat. But the good stuff in life happens when we’re fully present with our loved ones.
As a business owner, find purpose by connecting your work with personal happiness and family. Getting the balance right means making choices – like setting aside family time, being clear about work hours, and figuring out what really matters. This way, you not only strengthen your relationships but also find meaning beyond just work.
Shoutout to all the dads I see on my stories showing up for their kids every day.

Quality time with my boy this weekend 🤗

I can’t wait to start taking him to work with me when he’s a little bit older! Sometimes with a busy work week, I feel like I hard get any time with him. But when we do have our alone time, it’s the best moments in the world. Watching him grow up, ask to hold my hand, say Daddy when he wants me to do something with him, it gives me so much more purpose in life. Time flies… I can’t believe he just turned two!🥹

I’m truly blessed to wake up every morning and surround myself with people with positive energy.
