This is going to be one of the best punk nights Colchester has ever seen!

Coming all the way down from Worcester just for this gig are Kick The Clown. We saw them play at FESTIVAL there and knew instantly we had to have them down in Colchester. I’m so happy they said yes.

Local artists Jake Cheek and We Found The Wreck are sure to rock your boats, and coming all the way from Southend are Soaked, and that’s exactly how you’re gonna leave, wet. In what areas? That’s your choice.

Tonight, the record label that I run with Jake Cheek called Sad Buds Records are putting on a gig at Coda Colchester tonight! Charcoal are headlining with support from Combat Sports and Hearts Apart

At Sad Buds we don’t take a cut, 100% of the money will be given to all the artists, and the more people who come the more we can give them!

Free entry as per usual! Music starts at 8pm, support the support, and support Coda as a grassroots venue!

We’re very excited to announce that we will be hosting and promoting Fraser Morgan’s 1000th show at Colchester Arts Centre on June 8th 2024 with support from Armoured Man and Jack Walsh, raising money for Musician’s Supporting The Homeless and The Outhouse!

Fraser Morgan and Jake Cheek of Sad Buds Records are ecstatically proud to announce that the annual Christmas Festival “Merry Sadmas 3: The Big Sad Takeover” that took place on Friday 1st December managed to raise £1,000 in 4.5 hours across 3 venues!! That is MENTAL!!

Thank you to everyone who donated! The money will be split between 2 local charities; Musicians Supporting The Homeless, and LGBTQ+ charity The Outhouse.

Thank you to everyone who donated, the venues who allowed us to host the festival (and donated themselves) and to all the acts who donated their time! THIS is what Colchester is all about. We’re elated.

We’re gonna go hibernate now and eat our bodyweight in homemade roasties and sip on what we feel is fair to call well-earned pints. Go be nice to those around you, and we’ll see you in 2024.
