Came to Africa to help preserve hyenas, crocodiles, bats, and other endangered wildlife with infrared drones locating and tracking where the animals go in an effort to ensure their habitat is protected. While there I was able to visit Compassion Kinds orphanage and show the kids the infrared drone while staying in the village. As you could imagine the kids were so excited!!!

In the high desert area around LA, rather despicable people dump their unwanted dogs and leave them to the elements: freezing temperatures, no food, water or shelter but plenty of hungry coyotes. Doug Thron, featured in our new series ‘Doug To The Rescue’ along with Ezra Wolfinger spent several nights flying Doug’s infrared drone in bitterly cold temps, looking for these abandoned pups before the cold or the coyotes could get them.
