Just came back from a morning hike to TIKONA FORT & started working at 12.30 Pm!!!

It's a 1 km long trek & and only 1 hour drive away from Pune!!!

Which makes this perfect location for a weekday outing without taking leave😜😜

And the best part of hiking on a weekday is no crowd❤️

Sharing a dump of old travels from my most favourite places!!!
Why do I like to get so many pictures?
Today I'm sitting in bed watching the old pictures from my previous trips and cherishing the memories on the road!!! And thinking about the time when all gets normal and I will get to travel again..
But till the time I'm not able to, I still have the old memories with me and seeing the pictures and the videos again I go back to that time and relive those moments whenever I can.
So these pictures give me hope, hope to travel again, hope to create more memories like these again!!!
Being a traveler at heart, it's really hard for me to just sit in one place and not hit the road. I found the love for travel some years back on my first ever trip to Himalayas, but that's another story to tell
So just sharing a dump of old travels from my most favourite places and planning to hop on my next travel adventure when things get normal and praying that soon this time shall too pass...

Exploring Alleppey Backwaters in a Houseboat!!!

Anyone in?

Here are a few things you need to know if you're planning to visit Alleppey & want to stay in a Houseboat -->
1. Houseboats starts from 9 am till 5 pm only & at night it's parked at & the ac is ON post 10pm
2. We went in December & it was really hot & humid, so if you're planning to visit check the weather forecast!!
3. Food is included - all three meals
4. Post 5 pm, you can visit nearby beach

EVERYTHING THAT COULD HAVE GONE WRONG WENT WRONG!!!

When we started our journey for the Kedarnath Dham from Pune airport, we knew the place is crowded but little did we know that reaching Rishikesh from Delhi would take us about 9 hours for a 200 km drive on a highway!!!

❌We couldn't reach Rishikesh on time to do Rafting
❌It rained a little when we reached Rishikesh
❌We couldn't get green card for our vehicle to cross Sonprayag
❌We had to book another vehicle
❌The driver said no in the morning
❌We had to book another vehicle to reach Sonprayag
❌We were stuck in Traffic again for 4 hours

But what's a trip without a little drama right? And it happens all the time✨✨

But the good thing was, we booked the stays at every place in advance & thanks to , we had a roof over our heads to sleep in nicely after the exausting days we had at the end of the day!!!

A little bit of planning goes a long way, some plans fail but some turn out better than what you expected!!!

Some places exceed your expectations!!!

This is one such property which did exactly that for us after the most tiring 2 days of trekking!!!

I wish I could have spent some more time here enjoying the views but the return journey was calling us out & we had to leave this beautiful place😍😍

Finally back from Kedarnath Dham yatra & can't believe I did this one on my own!!!

It would not have been possible without the support of Mahadev, energy drink & my better half .kumar007 who carried two bags because I couldn't!!!

✨Here are a few things to keep in mind if you wish to do the trek on your own & not with help of pony, doli or pitthu(or pittu)⬇️⬇️
1. It's a 16 km steep trek so be prepared
2. After first 5 km, there is a different route for walking, take this route & avoid the route with horses because there are too many horses.. it's hard even to walk
3. Main hike starts after the 8 kms, if someone tells you, it's sidha after that, don't believe!!!
4. Keep chanting, it really helps
5. Keep sipping water at small intervals & keep having some energy drink or food.
6. Go for watery food like cucumber, nimboo Pani instead of Maggie, pahado wali Maggie won't help you
7. There are plethora of stalls at every point, so don't worry & have food at intervals instead of having at one time
8. Don't carry much luggage, & if you wish to, do pitthu for luggage, so that you can walk without weight
9. There is a huge queue for darshan, starting point sonprayag & return from gaurikund..
10. last but not least, practice running, play some sports or some activity if you don’t!!!

Hello from Sonprayag!!!

2 days of roadtrip from Delhi to Rishikesh & Rishikesh to Sonprayag only to realise that places are overcrowded & the only way to reach is waking up at 4 am & starting as soon as possible..

Here I'm with chapped lips & tired face but still managed to keep a smile on😍

I turned 30 today!!!

Growing up birthdays always had a special place in my heart but over past few years as I grew older birthday anxiety took place of it!!!

I always had this mindset that i want to achieve these things by the time I turn a particular age and this year was a tough one to crack because of 30 & all!!!

As the date came closer I thought does it even matter if I achieve "30 things to do before you turn 30"!!!

30 or not life
life ain't stopping at 30 & neither am I!!!!

So here I am cheering to the wonderful 30 years I had & looking forward to the next chapter of my life!!!

📍Ahar Cenatop

While most of the places in Udaipur were at walking distance from our stay, we wanted to cover Sajjangarh & Ahar Cenatop as well which required certain mode of transport to reach these two places.
So we hired scooty from just opposite to our stay at for 200/- & covered these 2 points on last day in Udaipur!!!

And I'm glad that we decided to cover these points!!!

The blue sky & white architecture is 💙

Long time no see..

It's been already a month since I visited ladakh and I'm yet to post all the pictures.
Lately posting reels only on my feed made me realise, I have too many pictures in my gallery staring at me and asking "when are we going to see the light of instagram?".
