Dear members of the pinewood community
On Saturday October 23 ACT is organising a beach cleanup. As we are part of the Anatolia family, and responsible citizens, you are urged to join and participate too. Not to mention that activities like such are a great opportunity for you to enrich your CAS portfolios and CVs.
The beach clean up will take place on the beach behind Hondos Center. We are meeting at the Pink Dot Cafe (Navigations :https://goo.gl/maps/aS1Z4aEmHTdM3yWX9) at 10:00 in the morning and will be there until 13:00. You will be given gloves and bags, however do not forget to wear masks and bring water with you.

With the summer break almost here, singing, dancing and playing your favorite instruments is one of the best ways to get into the relaxing mood. The HSSC is yet again inviting you to participate in our Summer Show. Unfortunately the show will once again be held online due to ongoing covid regulations. However, staying joyful and safe through these times is our number one priority. This time we invite you to submit a video out of the following categories: "singing", "Instrumental performance", "dance" and "acting". Please remember that your video may not exceed the 5 minute limit. The submissions will be open until the 6th of June. We cant wait to see you perform! Please submit your videos to [email protected]

It is ever so exciting to be able to see grade 10, 11 and 12 students be back at school! It is with pleasure that the HSSC is announcing spirit week of 2021! Students studying from home are welcome to dress up according to daily themes seen below for their zoom classes, while grade 10-12 students are invited to dress up to school! Have fun, stay safe and let's have a colorful week.

Dear Students of Grades 11 and 12, HSSC is preparing a new project for you to take part in in order to help those who need it as well as enrich your CAS! The new Buddy System where you can tutor students from elementary and middle school. There will soon be a form shared with all of you where you can state your interest in participating. Dear Pinewood community, it is time to deck the halls! With Christmas approaching and everyone trapped inside, a home felt Christmas spirit video is something to lift everyone’s spirits and fill our hearts with the holiday feelings. Therefore we invite all Pinewood students from Pre-K to Grade 12 to submit their pieces of Christmas music! The students are welcome to make submissions of them performing a Christmas musical piece on an instrument of their choice, singing a Christmas song or even performing a dance to it! Moreover, since we are a unique, and a diverse community, students are welcome to perform a Christmas piece from their country*! The submissions will be combined in a video and shared with the whole community on the last day of school.
