One duo riding around on a moped are believed to be responsible for at least 33 robberies in Queens, The Bronx and Manhattan.
67-year-old man beaten and robbed by group in Melrose, Bronx
Police are searching for four men who brutally beat and mugged a man in the Bronx overnight Monday.
The 67-year-old victim was returning home after work at a pizza shop around 2:30 a.m. and was walking down 151st Street in the Melrose section when a group of men started walking behind him.
The victim, who wished to remain anonymous, noticed the men were following him and tried to run away.
That's when one of the suspects pushed him to the ground, and they began to attack him.
The suspects took the victim's backpack and $300 in cash and left him on the ground.
As the victim attempted to get up, the group returned and continued their assault.
They snatched the victim's cell phone before finally fleeing the area.
The victim lost multiple teeth and needed stitches on the inside of his mouth after the attack.
The suspects were described to police as being in their teens to early 20s, with slim builds and dark complexions.
Three of the individuals were wearing white T-shirts, and the fourth individual was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Brooklyn subway assault: Man bashes victim’s head with rock during argument

The suspect behind a violent Brooklyn subway assault early on Saturday morning, who repeatedly bashed a senior man’s head with a rock, remains at large, police reported.
Police released on Sunday morning video footage of the bare-chested brute behind the violent attack, which occurred at 12:48 a.m. on Aug. 20 at the Avenue H station on the Q line in Midwood.
According to law enforcement sources, the perpetrator approached the 64-year-old victim, who was walking on the Coney Island-bound platform, and engaged him in a verbal argument. Police have not disclosed what the dispute was about.
But moments later, authorities said, the suspect entered onto the track area, grabbed a rock and climbed back up onto the platform. Police said the suspect then repeatedly struck the man’s head with the rock multiple times, knocking him out for a brief period.
Following the assault, cops said, the brute fled out of the station on foot in an unknown direction.
Officers from the 70th Precinct and NYPD Transit District 34 responded to the attack. EMS rushed the victim, who suffered head trauma, to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

Afternoon shootout in South Jamaica
Police are searching for four teenage suspects after a boy was shot and wounded in a daytime attack on a Queens street this week.
The NYPD released video Tuesday showing the masked group approaching the 17-year-old victim on a sidewalk at 152nd Street and 118th Avenue in South Jamaica just after 5 p.m. Monday.
Two of the teens pull out handguns and open fire on the victim, the video shows.
The victim runs across the street in front of a passing car, and the gunmen continue shooting, with one bullet seen ricocheting off a Jeep beside him.
The teen suffered a gunshot wound to his right thigh. EMS rushed him to Long Island Jewish Medical Center in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
The suspects fled the scene on foot, police said.

Man slashes woman's hand w/o provocation at W 42nd and 7th on Sunday morning

A woman was randomly slashed by a man with a boxcutter as she walked down a Midtown street Sunday, police said.
The 59-year-old victim was sliced in the right hand by the man who crept up behind her on Seventh Avenue near West 42nd Street in an unprovoked attack around 10 a.m., according to cops.
Dramatic video shared by the NYPD shows the suspect a few steps behind the woman as she pulls a shopping trolley down the block.
He raises the blade in the air, with his arm outstretched towards the sky, before suddenly lunging at the woman and slashing the blade down on her right hand.
The man uttered no words before stabbing the woman’s hand, police said.
The woman was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect, meanwhile, fled eastbound on East 42nd Street before cops arrived.

Brownsville shooting suspect wounds four

Police on Wednesday released surveillance footage of an unsolved weekend shooting in Brownsville that left four people injured, including a 16-year-old boy struck in the head.
The shooting unfolded around 8:10 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Livonia and Rockaway avenues, according to authorities.
The newly-released footage shows the gunman running toward the camera, apparently being chased by two people. But then he suddenly wheeled around and pointed a handgun toward his pursuers, who tumbled to the street, the footage shows.
By the time the shooter fled the scene, four people had been struck, authorities said. In addition to the teen victim, one man, 24, was struck in the torso and another, 59, was shot in the leg, officials said. A third man, 34, was grazed on the back.
The grazed man declined medical attention, while the other three victims were hospitalized in what police described as stable condition.

Two teenagers were arrested after one of them was caught-on-camera brazenly opening fire outside a Brooklyn police precinct on Tuesday afternoon, police sources said.
Jermaine Jordan and Jeremiah Forde, both 19, were chasing a third person across from the 81st Precinct in Bedford-Stuyvesant just before 1:30 p.m. when one of the teen’s allegedly pulled out a gun and began shooting at their target, the sources said.
Surveillance video posted to social media captured part of the broad-daylight mayhem that also took place a few doors away from Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School.
The video allegedly shows the teens walking in the street past several parked police cars before spotting their target running in the opposite direction. One of the suspect’s can be seen firing off several rounds.
Officers from the precinct caught up to the teens about a block away and hauled them back to the station house, sources said. A firearm was recovered, the sources added.
Jordan and Forde were hit with numerous charges, including attempted assault, attempted burglary, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
No one was reported injured as a result of the shooting, sources said.
