Happy Birthday alert to two amazing guys I will be ever grateful to say I worked with and for. The Grant super twins, Rob and Ron. If you listen to the show you know that I always talk about them and always pranked them. But in all seriousness they are some of the kindest people i have ever met. Rob’s son, David, is also DPD and cut from the same mold.

Kevin started Dallas PD in 1981 and was sent out to the SW Division and he ultimately had his dream come true to become a Dallas Homicide Detective. He entered this very seasoned unit during the height of the violent 90s drug wars that saw a record number of murders rise to 500.
Kevin worked Homicide for 7 years then made found his calling as he changed the landscape of training in Dallas as he brought innovative trainings that we still use today.

Another great event in the books with the Dickey Foundation. Mrs Dickey and her family have supported the first responder community, across the country, by purchasing protective gear for these heroes. Last night was the Foundation’s third Denims and Diamonds event and it did not disappoint. Betsy Orton did an amazing job throwing this party. 💙💪🏻 The Dickey Foundation
