If your in Utah, mark your calendars for this event taking place in SLC on June 25, 2023 from 10-3pm. This one really hits home for my family.
I have twin boys, and one of them was born with arhrogryposis. I didn't even know what it was until I found out my son had it. He was never supposed to walk let alone ride a bicycle, but he does all that just in his own way. He's had a rough year this year because my boys are now in Jr High and my other twin plays on the football team, and all my son wants to do is play, but a doctor will never sign off. But my son still goes out in the backyard for hours throwing a football.
It breaks my heart watching my son go through this knowing he'll never play. But we always encourage him to continue practicing. I apologize for the long winded post. I try to keep it light and about bikes, but I think it's awesome that someone set up this ride to raise awareness for this. It will be good for my son to see he's not alone.
