NHL veteran Colton Orr and NWHL veteran Laura Brennan are stepping behind the bench this season and filling the last vacant coaching spots in the NWHL! Fins Up to Colton and Laura!

BREAKING NEWS: NHL veteran Colton Orr and NWHL veteran Laura Brennan will coach the Connecticut Whale for the 2019-20 season.
Brennan will serve as the team's interim head coach until Orr is able to join the team following his commitment to the "Battle of the Blades" program. Brennan has been a goaltender and a coach with the Whale for the last two seasons.

Congratulations to former NWHL #1 Overall Draft Pick Kelsey Koelzer on he new position with the Arcadia Knights Women's Hockey team! Koelzer was drafted by and played for the Metropolitan Riveters for two seasons and tallied 14 points over 29 games. Congratulations, Kelsey! 💪

NWHL games will now be streamed live on Twitch! The partnership will last through the 2021-2022 season and will offer exclusive live coverage of NWHL events. For the first time, the NWHL is also receiving a broadcasting rights fee, half of which will go directly to the players.

BREAKING NEWS! The NWHL is proud to announce a three-year exclusive streaming partnership with Twitch. All future NWHL games and programming will be streamed on the groundbreaking platform and the league's players will receive a 50/50 split of the revenue from this streaming partnership. Game on!
