Just wanted to drop a quick note to explain why I've been MIA lately. I've been dealing with an injury that's been taking up a lot of my time and energy. Recovery mode, you know?

It's nothing serious, just something that I need to deal with. I'll be back to regular posting as soon as I can. In the meantime, I've been working on a DIY guide for the side table I built to add to my collection of works. Let me know your thoughts on this idea.

PVC is so easy to work with, I thought I found a new material to use for my #1 selling item. But I decided against it because – morals! Here are the top five reasons why PVC is not sustainable1. I know it’s been a thing for a few years now but I just had to wait for smart devices that didn’t require subscriptions and isn’t dependent on a specific brand. This is a perfect solution for me. A plug in device that just works without compromising my private data. No separate apps installed, just the native app that came with my phone. It also has all of the benefits of a smart garage including live status notifications, access for family members or friends, minus the cost of an expensive WiFi enabled opener. Do you welcome smart accessories like this or are you against them? Would you as it to your own old garage?
