It has been brought to my attention that I neglected to post the link to the 2004 Sri Lankan handball team singing 'It Wasn't Me'. This is true. It is also true that they were in fact singing 'My Angel'. This podcast is researched with all the academic thoroughness and rigour becoming of a college dropout who lives mostly on protein bars and Monster.

Anyway this is a fun documentary for those of you who speak German. If you don't speak German and also don't know what the f**k I'm on about, check us out on SoundCloud

New episode is up on Soundcloud and basically everywhere else casts are podded! In 'League of Evil Musicians vs The Ghost and a Runaway Handball Team', MJ talks to comedian Brian Cheatle about the frankly cursed life of Adolf Sax, inventor of the saxophone (and the lesser-known Saxocanon), and shares the tale of Sri Lanka's secret handball team. Plus the case for bringing back dueling, the Anti-MJ League, some good old-fashioned tan bashing and nobody being quite sure what exactly handball is.

In 'An Alarming Lack of Supervision and Grand Theft Island', MJ talks to comedian Fiona Kenny about two child stowaways and the frankly alarming number of adults they passed on a very long journey, and shares the tale of a uniquely Australian protest for same-sex marriage. With special guest Gráinneog the Emotional Support Hedgehog. Plus Alan the Taxi Driver, MJ's BDE (Big Drug-dealer Energy), and an economy based entirely on stamp collecting.

A brief correction- Olga of Kiev, 10th century Ukraine's baddest bitch, was born in or around 890, not 1890. If you're desperate to hear MJ Stokes f**k up - or if you just think explosive revenge and kayaking shennanigans sound cool - you can listen on SoundCloud, Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

Allie O'Rourke tells MJ about how legendary kayaker and designer Corran Addison made a big splash at the 1997 world championships, and MJ talks about St Olga of Kiev's scorched-earth rejection policy

Our latest episode is up! In 'Water Bottle Lifejackets and the Patron Saint of Bloodthirsty Widows', Allie O'Rourke - Comedian tells MJ about how legendary kayaker and designer Corran Addison made a big splash at the 1997 world championships, and MJ talks about St Olga of Kiev's scorched-earth rejection policy and why they really want to get 'Tweet, Tweet, Boom!' written on a t-shirt. Plus Death by Trees, boats crossing pickets, very early aerial warfare, and more bad puns than you can shake a paddle at. CW for animal cruelty and gore.
