Baby Bianca has finally made it! I've been working towards my Miss California dream my whole life. I started competing in pageants when I was just 2 months old and have been a competitive baton twirler for half of my life. All those years of competition have finally paid off and led me to win my first local, and now I'm headed to Miss California TODAY❤️❤️❤️👑❤️❤️❤️

Welcome to LA❤️ This is the building where it happens. The mayor's office and the city council chamber are located here. This building was built in 1928. It's a very majestic part of the landscape in the civic center district of the downtown area. At almost 100 years old this building has a rich history and is beautiful inside and out!

Talent? Yep, that's right talent is a part of the regularly scored competition for the Miss California Teen title, so that means it mandatory not optional. As a competitive baton twirler of almost 8 years I know a thing or two about the talent portion. This past weekend I competed individually and with my team at the All West Regionals competition. I am happy to say not only did I bring home several 1st place awards, but my team did too. We even won the overall judges trophy 2 years in a row.

I am officially a high schooler! This week was my 8th grade promotion. I was also honored with an award for the Principal's Honor Roll and an award from the White House for academics. I received 2 cords for promotion for academics and being a part of the Leadership Program at my school

It's Memorial Day, and as I head off to Baton practice, I wanted to take a moment to honor my papa, who served in World War II. My great grandfather, along with his 2 brothers, are all veterans and proudly served our country. Today, as we honor those who gave their lives for our freedom, I give thanks to my great grandfather, and I miss him so much!

I love working with the Let it Be Foundation. My community service initiative is Pedatric Cancer. Every day 47 children are diagnosed with cancer in the United States. My goal is to try to bring awareness to this problem by showing people how they can help these children and their families on their journey while dealing with this disease. Let it Be helps familes by caring for the whole family. As a part of the leadership team, I do monthly dinner deliveries and participate in fundraisers such as the Let It Be 5k this past weekend.

Today I participated in the Walk for Wishes with the Make A Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles. Make a wish grant's wishes to children diagnosed with Cancer and other illnesses. Today I walked for Team Rebecca's Angel's. My friend Rebecca passed away before her wish was able to be granted. So today we walk for you Rebecca ❤️

How did you spend your Earth Day? I spent mine with my sister queens cleaning up at the Sherman way street clean up. We gathered so much trash. Litter is a big problem that we all need to be aware of it. It's crazy to see trash cans on every corner, and still, people don't use them and throw their trash on the floor.

Back at the theater again, one of my favorite places to be in the City of LA. This time I saw 1776 and learned about the writing of the Declaration of Independence from an amazing cast.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to volunteer at the city of Bell Gardens Food Bank with my sister queens. There were so many people lined up for food today that we ran out. There are so many families in need in LA County, still long after the days of the COVID food drive thru's. I was honored to be able to help out and bless other people this holiday weekend.

HAPPY WORLD BATON TWIRLING DAY!!!!

Did you know that April 10th is World Baton twirling day? Baton Twirling is not only an artistic sport that combines dance and gymnastics while manipulating several batons (metal rods), but it's also my talent. Even though I make it look easy, it requires stamina, strength, flexibility, YEARS of practice, and lots of accuracy.

Baton Twirling is a very competitive sport similar to rhythmic gymnastics. Twirlers can compete individually and/or on a team at various levels. You can also compete to qualify for the world team, just like in the Olympics. There are many Baton twirlers that compete in the Miss America Organization. California has had some awesome twirlers that have come before me like Catherine Waters Miss Tustin, Cameron Doan Miss California Outstanding Teen, Cassie Roby Miss Los Angeles County, and Veena Goel Miss California & Miss Los Angeles County. It's so cool when I go to a Baton competition and see former Queens' names on the perpetual trophies in the twirling world. Baton Twirling is more than a sport it's also entertainment. I am honored that the Miss America Organization gives young women like me an opportunity to use our twirling gifts to pursue scholarships.

I just came home from spending an amazing week in Costa Rica with my 8th grade class on an Ecotourism trip of a lifetime. I had the opportunity to participate in a community service project at a local farm, where I helped plant beans and corn to feed the school children of Costa Rica. All kids are required to go to school in Costa Rican Culture. They really value education in their society. Unfortunately, some of the children's only meals are at school where food is provided for free. So it's very important to keep the kids fed at breakfast and lunch time. I am proud to say that I, along with my classmates, were able to plant food to feed the local children. We are also going to start a clothing drive at our school to send them clothes as well for our service learning project.

As a member of the Youth Leadership Program with the Let It Be Foundation I was able to help plan and put on our annual family dance. This year the theme was St Patrick's day. The Let It Be Foundation provides support for families with children battling life threatening illnesses such as Cancer. I am happy to be a part of an Organization helping brighten thier day while dealing with a daily fight against Cancer.

It's Dinner Delivery time! As a member of the Jr Links Youth Leadership Program with the we make weekly food deliveries to the families of children with life threatening illnesses. When kids are going to appointments and through treatment, families have a lot to deal with and these dinner deliveries help ease some of those burdens.
