Atlanta police are investigating a shooting that has left one woman dead and another in critical condition at a metro Atlanta Subway store.
The reason for the shooting? Too much mayonnaise on a sandwich, police said.
APD responded to a Circle K gas station at the intersection of Northside and Markham St. to calls about a shooting just after 6:30 p.m. When they arrived, they learned two female employees had been shot after a dispute about the amount of mayonnaise on a customer’s Subway sandwich.

Police said the woman who was killed was 26 years old. A 24-year-old employee was shot in front of her 5-year-old son and is now in critical condition. A relative told Channel 2′s Tom Jones that the victim, Jada Statum, was hit twice after she pushed her son under the counter to keep him from being hurt.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Friday overturned Roe v. Wade, eliminating the constitutional right to abortion after almost 50 years in a decision that will transform American life, reshape the nation’s politics and lead to all but total bans on the procedure in about half of the states.

“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. wrote for the majority in the 6-to-3 decision, one of the most momentous from the court in decades.

Bans in at least seven states swiftly took effect after they enacted laws meant to be enforced immediately after Roe fell. More states are expected to follow in the coming days, reflecting the main holding in the decision, that states are free to end the practice if they choose to do so.

The decision, which closely tracked a leaked draft opinion, prompted celebrations and outcries across the country, underlining how divisive the topic of abortion remains after decades of uncompromising ideological and moral battles between those who see making the choice to terminate a pregnancy as a right and those who see it as taking a life.

The outcome, while telegraphed both by the leaked draft opinion and positions taken by the justices during arguments in the case, nonetheless produced political shock waves, energizing conservatives who are increasingly focused on state-by-state-fights and generating new resolve among Democrats to make restoring the right to choose a central element of the midterm elections.

President Biden, warning that the decision would jeopardize the health of millions of women, urged people to head to the polls.

“It is the realization of extreme ideology and a tragic error by the Supreme Court,” Mr. Biden said.

Calling the discovery of a 3-year-old boy's body in a freezer a ‘very tragic case’, Detroit Police Chief James White said the young boy had been decomposing when he was found and credited the first officers to respond for following their instinct.

White held a press conference Friday morning, 10 hours after the gruesome discovery was made at a home on Monte Vista, near I-96 and Grand River on Detroit's west side. He was joined by Detroit Police Captain Kimberly Blackwell and other leaders in the community.

While New York and Chicago have drill and Atlanta is the home of trap, it seems that the Florida boys, like Ksoo and others, are popularizing the genre called “murder rap,” where they rhyme about offing opps in rival gangs.

‘BMF’ star Lil Meech allegedly stole a $250,000 Richard Mille watch and got caught ... leading to his arrest for grand theft.

Cops say the actor walked into Miami's Haimov Jewelers back in February and put a down payment on the Richard Mille using his $80,000 platinum Rolex, but he allegedly failed to pay the remaining $200K balance and never returned the watch.

Cops also accuse him of trying to trade the watch for a different Richard Mille piece at a different store.

Among the victims, who range in age from 20 to 86, were people doing grocery shopping, a heroic former police officer who tried to stop the gunman, a long-term substitute teacher and a taxi driver who "took pride in helping people."

Police released photos of the replica, whose knife blade extends outward from underneath the gun's barrel.

Lee was taken into custody Tuesday night.

The video shows Chappelle falling back but managed to quickly free himself as security rushed out to grab the attacker.

According to ABC News, Chappelle and the man tussled on the stage floor. Security staff surrounded and tackled the man in the rear corner of the stage.

Chappelle appeared to run toward the altercation, saying the man was being "stomped" and asked repeatedly for security to remove the man from stage.

Exclusive footage from AIR7 HD captured the attacker on a gurney as he was being loaded into an ambulance to be taken to a hospital for unspecified injuries.

Lee was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on $30,000 bail, according to LAPD booking records. It's unclear what motivated Lee to run onto the stage.

"The replica handgun, which contained a knife blade, was recovered and booked as evidence," police said in a statement.

Leaks of government information, by themselves, are not crimes," said Steve Vladeck, a CNN Supreme Court analyst who's a professor at the University of Texas School of Law. "Usually, leakers are prosecuted for leaking classified information, which this isn't, or for offenses related to how they obtained the information they leaked."

"But without one of those hooks, or some kind of financial harm to the government arising from the leak, there's no federal criminal statute that makes leaking of simply confidential governmental information unlawful,"

All lawyers were present for the ruling, as well as Chyna. However, the Kardashian-Jenner family did not attend, as most of them were in New York for the Met Gala.

DJ Kay Slay, an influential member of the New York hip-hop scene whose raucous mixtapes became legendary, has died from Covid-19 complications.

His family confirmed his death through a statement released by New York hip-hop radio station HOT 97. He was 55.
Kay Slay, whose real name was Keith Grayson, was a DJ at HOT 97. But he had been a star of the genre since the early 1990s, when mixtapes he produced featured up-and-comers and superstar rappers like Jay-Z and later, Eminem.
A young Kay Slay appeared in the seminal 1983 documentary "Style Wars," which explored New York's burgeoning hip-hop scene. Then an East Harlem graffiti artist primarily using the name Dez, he tagged the sides of subway train cars, calling himself the "king of the number three train."
His depth of experience as a young artist growing up during the rise of Grandmaster Flash and the Sugarhill Gang, and later as a producer in his own right, introduced him to major artists. He released over 500 mixtapes in 10 years since his first in 1994, per previous reports, featuring artists going tit-for-tat with each other on tracks rarely found on the radio.
The mixtapes Kay Slay executive produced reverberated far outside New York. In 2003, the New York Times said that "high-profile hip-hop beef in the last three years ... began or ended on a Kay Slay tape," including tiffs between Nas and Jay-Z. Kay Slay took to calling himself "The Drama King" because of the years-long feuds that began (and later, sometimes, ended) on his tapes.
His debut album, 2003's "The Streetsweeper, Vol. 1" was the first marketed to a national audience. It featured 50 Cent, Nas and Eminem, among many others, performing songs primarily produced by other artists, along with its followup. He also worked closely with the artist Papoose, with whom he left Jive Records to record independently.

The wealthy political activist and Democratic donor Ed Buck was sentenced to 30 years in prison on charges that he supplied and personally injected gay men with methamphetamine in exchange for s*x, leading to two deaths and multiple other overdoses.

Buck, 67, was found guilty in July by a federal jury on all nine counts, including having a drug house, distributing methamphetamine and enticing men to travel for prostitution.

Thursday’s sentencing closes a long saga, involving Buck, who prosecutors say used his wealth and influence to prey on and exploit mostly vulnerable Black men for “party and play” encounters at his West Hollywood apartment. The encounters involved Buck paying men to use drugs, injecting large amounts and performing s*x acts on them. Officials said Buck would inject methamphetamine with or without the men’s consent and sometimes when they were unconscious.

The Kardashians are gearing up for their trial against Blac Chyna.

According to courtroom sketches obtained by PEOPLE, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner all appeared in court on Monday. However, Rob Kardashian, Chyna's ex, was noticeably absent. The famous family was present to witness their legal team and Chyna's own representatives select the trial's jury.

Chyna, 33, was also spotted making her way into the courthouse.

Chyna's legal battle with the Kardashian-Jenner family began in 2017. After her on-off relationship with Rob, 35, ended, Chyna — born Angela White — claimed the Kardashians were responsible for influencing the cancellation of the Keeping Up with Kardashians spinoff, Rob & Chyna.
