Last year I was at the London Brighton bike ride where lots of cyclists of all skill levels bike from London down to Brighton (I wonder how many turn round and bike back?) - a distance of 54 miles. My pitch was on top of Ditchling D**e, just a few miles out from Brighton, an about 800 foot high very, very steep climb which brought the worst out in some of the competitors! And - as usual - it was raining very heavily which serves to increase the competitor happiness! Not there this year for the event 16th June, best to all mad enough to take part though!

I've become interested in the way the food delivery services work, having been working in food and restaurant photography for about five years now. Dozens of people on everything from bikes to cars racing round to deliver - fast food! Puts a new meaning into the phrase eh?

Winners from the Cardiff 10K on 19/5/24; even by the sea it was very warm for that race. The mens winner was barely 1/10...

Winners from the Cardiff 10K on 19/5/24; even by the sea it was very warm for that race. The mens winner was barely 1/10th in front on the line. Winner of the mens - again - Omar Ahmed, womens Hannah Irwin, wheelchair Richie Powell. A good turnout on a sunny day for a very popular event.

A few from the excellent Garmin sponsored UK Trail Running Festival at St. Giles House in the New Forest 28/04/24. A variety of distances from kiddies 100 metres to a full marathon, it attracted a lot of canicross enthusuasts running mainly shorter distances with their dogs, many of who seemed to be enjoying the running more than their owners especially at the end! The rain mostly held off, even so the recent wet weather provided for plenty of mud and puddles to splash about in.
