JAY-Z CLAIMS NOBODY COULD COMPARE TO HIS LYRICAL SKILLS!

Tuesday night during a conversation between Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Rob Markman, the iconic rapper mentioned how he couldn’t be defeated in a versus battle. Initially, the topic was based on the release of Alicia Keys new album, which somehow took a turn and the conversation of a versus battle became the topic of discussion. Jay Z gave respect to other artists and said that he’s not shaming anyone and he commends other rappers for their hard work, but, when it comes down to it nobody could get on the stage with him. When the rapper, who goes by the name of Rick Ross, heard about the discussion on the versus battle, he announced that he would put his foot forward and go for it. Rick Ross stated that he would do a versus battle against Jay Z, but not in the way people may think. After Rick Ross said those words, He also mentioned that it would be not to go against him as a rapper but to bring out the best of both rappers and their creativity and he gives nothing but utter respect to Jay Z.

DANGEROUS TIKTOK CHALLENGE GETS AUTHORITIES INVOLVED ACROSS THE U.S!

Recently, there was an incident that came about on social media that had parents and authorities on edge. Apparently there has been a viral trend on the app TikTok, encouraging students to participate in school shootings across the U.S. Although there were no specific schools targeted, parents, police and school faculties were doing all they could to prevent any dangers in case students decided to go through with the planned challenge. The date for this challenge was set for December 17th, but luckily there were no students injured during this sick social media game. However, it was stated that there was a close call with a young 16 year old male from Florida. While Authorities were checking the school, lockers, book bags etc., they came across a student at South Florida Highschool with a small suspicious bag that evidently contained a loaded firearm on campus. The Situation was immediately handled and the 16 year old male was arrested on school grounds.

DRAKE TAKES HIMSELF OFF THE GRAMMY NOMINATIONS LIST!

On Monday November 6th 2021, famous rapper/singer, Drake, reportedly withdrew his own name from the list of nominations for the upcoming Grammy Awards. Drake received not only a nomination for Best rap album, but two nominations that also included Best rap performance of his new song from his recent album “Certified Lover Boy”. With Drake getting multiple nominations, there was much confusion as to why such a big artist would remove himself from receiving any form of award, and Drake fans are curious. It has been rumored that maybe his decision came from a previous issue between himself and the Grammys back in 2019 when Drake got upset due to famous singer from Canada, The Weekend, being left out of the Grammy nominations. Unfortunately, there has been no official information on the approximate reason for his choices. The media only knows it was a spontaneous choice made by Drake and his management.

THREATS OVER SOCIAL MEDIA CAUSE HIGHSCHOOL CLASSES TO BE CANCELLED!

Recently, a highschool in Colorado, Vista Ridge High school, had to cancel morning classes due to an extreme situation that came about on social media. There were apparently issues between students online that extended to the students on campus causing them to act out. The police had to get envolved due to the violence and threats through social media, as well as on school grounds. In order to properly deal with the situation the school cancelled Monday classes to make sure the school didn’t become a target for this issue to extend to. Parents were notified about the classes and were told the reason was due to the potentially unsafe environment for all students. It was stated the classes would remain unavailable to students as long as the police are investigating.

RIHANNA CONFIRMS NEW MUSIC IS ON THE WAY!

Famous singer/ business woman, Rihanna, although known in the beauty industry, has always been recognized for her hypnotic vocals and great music. Her most recent album was predominately pop music and was released around 7 years ago in 2016. Recent run-ins with some paparazzi led to some very exciting and unexpected news. During the run-in, as the singer was stepping out of a cab, paparazzi approached and questioned her on any new music. She responded with “Soon, Soon, Soon”, a short answer, but was the answer the media needed to give the fans what they’ve been waiting for. She even mentioned it would be the absolute opposite of what Rihanna fans are used to hearing from her. Rihanna fans are heavily invested in the singers art and have waited years for new music and love when she adds new genres to her music so when the news of new music came about, it went viral.

BRITNEY SPEARS BECOMES A NEW MEMBER OF THE CATHOLIC COMMUNITY!

Famous singer, Britney Spears, recently made a post on Instagram about her new religious shift in life. Apparently, Britney has taken up religion and has claimed to now be a part of the Catholic community. With her Trumatic past and having to be monitored and controlled, due to her personal issues in life, she decided to go for the “Being Reborn” option. After the post she even served us with a look, a beautiful blue dress, which was for her Catholic mass/communion. A mask is a part of the Catholic religion where the church indulges in scripture readings, prayers, sacred food, sacrifice and much more. Becoming a part of the Catholic community and finding faith has seemed to already encourage and change Britney’s life for the better.

IRAN GOVERNMENT MAY ADD MORE CENSORSHIP TO SOCIAL MEDIA!

Iran has had a few issues in the past with its government banning and creating censorship rules for social media for the entire country. As of last week, there was a discussion on whether the government will continue to add restrictions to apps such as Instagram, and this has the citizens of Iran on edge. The year of 2021 has become so evolved and adapted to the Internet, to the point were almost all business and communication is done through social media, which is why the citizens are getting riled up. There are many Iranians with growing businesses on social media in order to gain customers and recognition outside of Iran. These possible new restrictions could slow down many businesses and possibly even ruin a few of them. The people of Iran are on the edge of their seats waiting to either receive a new bill where there are more restrictions or to let the situation die over. There has yet to be any announcements whether or not they’ll follow through with the censorship, but it was clarified that the bill has already been put into effect.

Singer, Beauty Guru and fashion icon Robyn Fenty, better known as Rihanna, has officially gained the title of a billionaire. Rihanna began her singing career in the early 2000s, but that wasn’t all she had going for her careers future. Nearly 5 years ago, she released her very own make up brand “Fenty Beauty”, which was named after her legal last name. With all the versatile shades in her collection, Fenty Beauty became one of the largest and most successful makeup brands for women and men of all skin tones and skin types. Of course, it was also the huge success of her clothing/lingerie line, “savage X Fenty”, which was also made for women of all shapes and sizes, from petite to plus size. With all her success and love from her fans since the beginning of her career, it’s no wonder why Rihanna became such a success and reached the billionaire status at the young age of 33.

HALLE BAILEY SNAPS BACK AT TWITTER TROLL AFTER COMING FOR CHLOE!

Halle Bailey and Chloe Bailey are twin sisters who have been best known for the roles they play on the hit tv series “Grown.ish”. They have also recently become quite famous for their other talent of being R&B singers. Apparently, Chloe Bailey has been sharing news of releasing some solo music, which isn’t usually the case considering she’s only ever released music that included her little sister Halle. After hearing this, Twitter trolls took it upon themselves to let them know that they thought Chloe was “cute” but is being extremely overhyped. Younger sister Halle didn’t like the disrespect that was being thrown towards her sister and responded “Girl let’s not start, Be blessed!! God loves you too”, and proceeded to create a separate post stating “I will ride for my sister til the enddd okayyy”. It’s safe to say no matter who the fans think is the “better” or “overhyped” sister, they will not be tolerating any negativity on each other’s behalf.

NIGERIAN INSTAGRAM INFLUENCER FACES 20 YEARS IN PRISON FOR FRAUD!

When we think of one’s rise to fame coming from the use of social media platforms, we often think of them as Instagram models, influencers, musicians and more to explain how they got where they are. The things we don’t think of are, these people are rising to fame and fortune by doing things that could cost them their freedom. Ramon Abbas, A.K.A Hushpuppi, Is a 37-year-old Influencer from Nigeria who has become a sensation on the social media app Instagram, known for showing off his expensive lifestyle. Unfortunately, Ramon has been connected to quite a few illegal dealings involving money laundering, online scheming and fraud. He admitted to being a part of these accused crimes that have affected multiple banks around the world which caused their businesses to lose millions. Ramon Was raided in Dubai were they found multiple pieces of evidence connecting him to all the crimes and more, plus they found nearly half of $100 million in cash stashed away in his apartment. On social media he was telling followers how his money was from real estate business so nobody would be suspicious on how lavish and luxurious his lifestyle seemed, which has now caused him to have to spend the next 20 years in prison.

TIKTOKER “XIAO QIUMEI” FALLS 160 FT OFF OF CRANE!

It was recently reported that Xiao Qiumei, a 23 year old female from China, fell to her death while trying to create content for social media. Xiao was widely known on TikTok and had built quite the fan base for herself and decided to use her working time to create more content for the viewers. Right before the incident, Xiao was apparently working on the construction site when she decided to stop and climb 160 feet on a crane she was supposed to be operating. This of course wasn’t the greatest or safest idea but she needed something new for her TikTok page and went for it. Unfortunately, during her climb she happened to take a misstep which ultimately led to her falling off the crane, while the camera was still rolling. The video only shows 160 ft of structure being passed as the fall continues. Sad to say, the TikTok Influencer did not survive the fall and had to leave behind her family along with her two small children.

THERE IS FINALLY A REVEAL ON CARDI B’S DUE DATE FOR BABY NUMBER 2!

It’s no secret that the famous Bronx female rapper, Cardi B, is on her way to being a mother of two now, but it wasn’t until recently that we found out when she will be having baby #2. It appears the new addition to the family will be on his or her way into this world on September 13th, just 2 months from now. The way the media initially found out was due to Cardi B’s upcoming trial date with a YouTube blogger, Tasha K, who has been slandering Cardi B’s character and has consistently targeted and bad mouthed Cardi to the public. Aside from the petty actions towards a pregnant woman, the rapper asked to have the trial delayed by several months due to the baby being expected around the same day as the initial trial date, which was also booked for September 13th.

TIKTOK BECOMING ALMOST AS FAMOUS AS FACEBOOK APPS!

The famous social media app, TiTok, has officially become the first app to reach the most downloads outside of the Facebook apps. The TikTok app reached 3 billion downloads even after some obstacles, bans, and new rules being brought in for the app. With the app being banned in India this past year, including being taken off the App Store for the entire country, it caused a severe drop in numbers by 38% in downloads. Besides the huge decrease, the app was able to make up for the drought in other departments of the app. The percentage in spending money for the app leveled up significantly, almost making up for the previous decrease, which left the numbers at a 75% increase. The increase helped the app get back on its feet for loosing a country’s worth of downloads and spendings, which also put it in second place to Facebook and it’s sister apps such as Instagram and messenger.

The famous Queens rapper everyone loves, Nicki Minaj, was on Instagram live reporting back to her fans with some exciting news. During Nicki’s live, she had some celebrity guests such as, New Orleans rapper, Lil Wayne and female rapper, BIA. While Nicki and Wayne spent their time catching up, Nicki and BIA were announcing their new Remix to “Whole Lotta Money”. Apparently, BIA had been reaching out to do a collaboration, with the Queen of rap, for multiple years and finally got her moment. Nicki shared with her fans how she heard the song, thought it was great and wanted to start working with BIA right away.

On June 28th Harlem rapper, Azealia Banks, made an announcement on Instagram stating she has a new album and a new single for her fans. Azealia will finally be releasing a part 2 to her previous 2012 album “Fantasea” and fans are full of anticipation after waiting nearly 10 years for another album. The rapper also mentioned her new single called “Kanye West”. As fans were confused, she made sure to clear up any misconceptions about the title of the song. She made it clear that this new single was not in favor of the Chicago rapper but in fact the song is about her dislike for him. Even though Azealia has been known to be quite controversial, her fans stood by her side and were excited to hear there is new music and showed nothing but love in her comments.

MICHAEL B. JORDAN’S NEW RUM FACES BACKLASH FOR CULTURAL APPROPRIATION!

Male actor Michael B. Jordan has recently started a new brand apart from his usual acting career, making the move to join the drink industry. He successfully released his first rum and decided to name it “J’Ouvert Rum”. Although the product release was a success, social media had plenty to say and not all of it was good feedback. Michael faced plenty of backlash from the “Trini Community” due to the name he chose for his brand. A lot of people felt offended due to the lack of Trinidadian background Michael has and thought this was one of those cultural appropriation situations. Many felt as though he crossed a line and stated that being of Caribbean culture has been treated as an aesthetic and lacks respect. He chose to use this name for its meaning, “DayBreak”, but many didn’t think he should have been able to use it and started commenting all over social media. Some were saying if he’s never been to Trinidad or been to a Trinidadian celebration, such as Carnival, he shouldn’t be able to express the culture simply for business.

Earlier this year the two famous female rappers, Doja Cat and Saweetie, released a new song called “Best Friend”. The two teamed up and decided to give back to the fans by creating a song woman could relate too or anyone with a best friend. The song was written to enforce woman empowerment and friends being able to be successful together. The song portrays Doja and Saweetie as successful, beautiful, powerful woman who are just in the moment trying to have a fun time. The hit single was finally named Platinum after 6 months of the release and has also been verified by the RIAA.

DRAKE TEAMED UP WITH LIVE NATION CANADA FOR NEW “HISTORY” PROJECT!

The famous rapper from Toronto, Canada, known as Drake, has been teaming up with Live Nation Canada to give back to his country and the people over the last few years. Together they will be opening an all new outlet for entertainment called “History”, not only for the artists but also for the fan base. Although some may not have known, this outlet has been in the works for nearly 4 years, not only to showcase talent, but so there are better job offers for the locals and to spread the love for music and give back to the citizens. History has been anticipated for quite some time and the wait can finally come to an end. This summer the venue will opening its doors and will apparently be able to hold up to 2,500 people at maximum. This venue will also supposedly be showcasing nearly 200 events yearly, such as concerts, if not more.

TIKTOK CHALLENGE CAUSES FREAK ACCIDENT WITH 9-YEAR-OLD BOY!

On Friday, June 18th, there was a deadly incident regarding a 9 year old boy, due to social media influence. LaTerius Smith Jr. was believed to be participating in a TikTok challenge called the “Blackout challenge”, when things started going left and was unfortunately found in the comfort of his own bedroom unresponsive. Details stated the boy was found unconscious with a belt wrapped around his neck which he put there while trying out the viral TikTok challenge. The “Blackout Challenge” has been seen all over social media, showing young kids to fully grown adults how to strangle oneself but the trick is to escape the grip of the belt or rope before it becomes a serious issue, but things did not go as planned. The 9 year olds family member, Barbra Williams, decided to share some words to all parents/guardians with little kids, letting them know they should always keep an eye on their children to avoid such tragedies. Since the freak accident social media app TikTok has banned any daring or possibly harmful content to avoid further incidents due to the outrageous things that are posted online.

VIETNAM INTRODUCES NEW SOCIAL MEDIA FORMALITIES!

The Vietnamese socialists function does not accept any social media criticism and often do what they can to prevent it. This is why Vietnam recently announced new rules for the nation on how to productively use their social media accounts for positivity. The Vietnam superiors nudges their people to use social media to post about the good in Southeast Asia, such as their people and the gorgeous surroundings. It has even become mandatory for state employees to bring it to the attention of someone in charge if there is anything that may seem problematic in any way. They beleive that spreading the positive word about their home will help them connect with their origins by noticing the beauty in their culture.

TINA KNOWLES SAYS JUNETEENTH HAS ALWAYS BEEN A CELEBRATION IN HER HOME!

Although Juneteenth was just officially made a national holiday, Tina Knowles, mother of Beyonce and Solange Knowles, stated during an interview that Juneteenth has always been a celebration in their home. Tina also mentioned that even as a little girl growing up, she always partook in the celebration and the entire family would go to the beach to celebrate the freedom of their people. Since then, Tina passed on her traditions to her daughters Beyonce and Solange, so they would learn to love being from a strong background and being happy to be apart of the black community. Not only did she keep this tradition, she also stated that she tried surrounding her daughters with black cultural art and artists because it was not commonly seen on platforms while they were growing up.

INSTAGRAM TELLS USERS TO NOT POST TIKTOKS ON REELS!

Instagram has recently announced that it will no longer be allowing promotions for TikTok videos. Instagram has also suggested that the app users no longer take videos from TikTok to repost on Instagram “Reels”. Users are now posting original TikTok videos on both platforms, which has been making it difficult for the original content creators to be discovered. As well, it gives TikTok more recognition as people are downloading the app due to endless TikTok videos being promoted through Instagram, which causes more competition between the two popular apps.

BRITNEY SPEARS RECEIVES UNENDING SUPPORT FOR NEW DOCUMENTARY!

The famous singer, Britney Spears, has recently released a brand-new documentary “The Framing of Britney Spears”, which has been based on her struggle being a conservatee. Back in 2008, Britney Spears was placed under the control of her biological father. In 2008, she suffered from personal and mental issues and was forced to be placed in a psychiatric facility. After the word spread about the release of her documentary release, Britney received nothing but support from her fans and multiple celebrities. Celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Hayley Williams, and even the beloved Miley Cyrus, posted on Twitter spreading awareness and sending love to Britney.

NIKITA DRAGUN RECEIVES NEGATIVE FEEDBACK AFTER MASKLESS BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Famous youtuber, Nikita Dragun, has been shamed multiple times in the past for attending or throwing massive parties during the coronavirus pandemic. Recently, Nikita threw yet another party for her 25th birthday, inviting over a dozen people and many of her fans were not happy with her. It was shown in many pictures she posted on her instagram, that not one person was wearing a mask for protection of spreading the virus. Many fans left a handful of comments under her posts saying she wasn’t being cautious and stating this was nearly her 5th time joining a party, meanwhile, many have been forced to spend their birthdays on lockdown. Nikita then replied stating that all friends who attended the party were in fact tested for the covid-19 virus upon arrival.

Pop singer, Ariana Grnade, A.K.A the princess of pop, has set yet another Guinness world record, breaking her previous record. Ariana’s new record came about after she reached her 100th number one on hot billboard 100, making this her 20th world record. She has now reached the same level as some of the most famous female singers such as musical legend Mariah Carey and Rihanna. Apparently, Ariana has become the first artists, male or female, to reach such an accomplishment in her or any other musical career. With Ariana’s musical talents, there is no doubt there will be many more records she will break with the support of her fans, the “Arianators”.

TIKTOK BAN IN INDIA CAUSES STAFF SHORTAGES!

During the year 2020, India faced a ban all over the country for the social media app, TikTok. This ban has since affected the staff, which has caused a huge shortage of the app workers. Apparently, TikTok has the majority of its downloads coming from India, after the country was involved in prejudicial actions on the app, TikTok was no longer accessible. The spokesperson for the app explained during an interview that this was occurring due to the lack of feedback from the government, which now causes India to suffer multiple job losses. Although, they were not clear on how many of these staff workers got to keep their jobs.

New York rapper, Cardi B, has recently posted on instagram, a sneak peak to her cover for her brand new upcoming song “UP”. Since her last song released in August, there hasn’t been any new music until now. Cardi’s fans were more than excited to hear there will be music on the way and flooded social media with comments of excitement. The new song was said to be released this Friday, February 5th, although there hasn’t been a time specified for the release. Cardi also stated on her instagram post that there are preorders available on her personal website for those who want to have access to her song earlier.

French Montana recently announced an upcoming collaboration during a podcast interview with DJ semtex. His star collaborator is a well know New York rapper who has been in the industry for nearly two decades. During the podcast French announced the famous Jay-Z would be his new partner for his upcoming song. French explained how he was ready to finally do a song with Jay, that wasn't featuring other artists, and that he found the perfect song that Jay-Z wanted to be on, and is currently in the studio working on their new project.

YOUTUBER'S BANNED FOR ENCOURAGING HACKING TECHNIQUES!

Earlier this year, a few Youtube accounts were on a temporary lockdown due to the channel's encouraging and promoting hacking techniques for the famous Pokemon game. This soon came back to haunt the Youtuber's, and now Twitch creators, who continued to use and encourage these inappropriate techniques while broadcasting it on their social media platforms. Multiple accounts were not just put on a brief time out, this time, accounts were shut down completely and unable to be reconnected. Joe Merrick then followed up with a tweet explaining that if player's are receiving new Pokemon characters, they should be very careful, and told hackers that will be 100% banned if they continue to illegally create additions to the game.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN EXPLAINS HOW THERE WAS NEVER GOING TO BE “KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDAHSIANS”!

During a recent interview on the Kelly Clarkson Show, the famous Khloe Kardashian shared some interesting news we my not have known about the Kardashians/Jenners. Khloe decided to spit out some news about how the show “Keeping up with the Kardashians”, and how it was never supposed to become such a huge hit, or a show at all for that matter. She explained that E news was simply looking to create content for their channel but kept on having bad outcomes. E News then decided to create “KUWTK” as a pass time so there wouldn’t be gaps during air time. That is when to everyone’s surprise, the show became a thing that the audience looked forward too. Khloe said how the show was just something fun, having no idea where it would take them, and thought they should just act as themselves, which created the current love for the famous Kardashians/Jenners.
