Each year thousands of books are "self-published". But fewer are "indie published". Wait. What is the difference? IMO Self published is when potential customers are turned off by obvious signs your book needed a publisher. I can't help you with editing mistakes, typos, or characters that change their name chapter by chapter.
You can learn how to typeset your own book from me. When your book is formatted to a professional standard... sometimes my students go well beyond a professional standard, there is no control freak like an indie publisher... err sorry I digress. When you've learned how to format your book to a high standard what happens?
1️⃣ The first impression of your book goes from bad to 'love it'.
2️⃣ All the money you were going to spend on formatting can be reinvested into editing and advertising.
3️⃣ You will finally be proud enough to show your mum, friends and partners colleagues.
Oh, and you can use these same skills to format bangin' pdf reader magnets to grow your newsletter.
What is the catch? Well, you have to learn Adobe InDesign - an advanced professional program. You see I don't muck around. I was a professional book designer for years, I'm not going to teach you a half-baked online software. Nor will I teach you how to force a word processing program to do design.
You see when you use the right tools to do the right jobs it's easy to learn.
The entire course to learn how to typeset your novel is just 5 hours long. 🤭
During that time you work with me as we both fully typeset (and design 2 covers) The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. It's over 100,000 words and you'll follow along step by step until it is a beautiful print-ready file.
