A road accident that turned 24-yr-old Jibran into an artist
His models of Mecca, Madina makes me proud: Father
Srinagar, Dec 08: It was 21 March 2015, when a 24-year-old Muhammad Jibran Yousuf, a bodybuilder, from Pingalgam village of Narbal in Kakapora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district met with an accident leaving him paraplegia for life.
Though the unfortunate accident left Jibran disabled, he discovered a hidden talent in him. His art of calligraphy and innovating new things made him a popular person in his village.
"The mishap changed the entire lifestyle and habits of my son," Jibran's father, Muhammad Yousuf Dar told the news agency KNO.
Dar said that his son was always fond of innovations, but after the accident, the talent within him has burst out.
“The mishap left my son paraplegia. As a father, I cannot bear to see my son like this. However, his art of calligraphy and innovation of new things has made me proud,” he said.
Dar said his son has so far made remote cars, tanks, aeroplane, robots and other things.
“Not only these things, but my son has also made me proud by coming up with models of Meccca, Madina, and Masjid Nabvi (SAW), which is beyond imagination,” he said.
Dat that his art of calligraphy is known to his friends, but the special art, which is making models of religious buildings as well as the creation of remote cars, robots and other things are still hidden to the people.
“My son is too shy and thus his talent remained hidden so far,” he said.
Jibran has now opened up a YouTube channel namely ‘Jibran & Art’, to showcase his talent to the people.
Jibran was pursuing Humanities at Government Degree College (GDC) Pulwama when he met with an accident. Prior to that, Jibran passed class 12th examinations from Government Higher Secondary School Newa. He did his schooling from Madrasa Falah-e-Millat, Singo Narbal.
According to his father, Jibran was a bodybuilder before the accident and was good in education too.

?
In a new study, researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Oregon Health & Science University have discovered that the prevalence of morning heart attacks could be caused by your body’s internal clock.
The body’s circadian system, colloquially known as our internal clock, is responsible for regulating the timing of the feelings of wakefulness and tiredness throughout the day. The rhythm of the circadian system dips and rises throughout the day and results in increases and decreases in certain chemicals in your brain and cells in your blood.

"Researchers found that at around 6:30 a.m. the circadian system sends out an increased amount of PAI-1 cells which blocks blood clots from breaking down. The more PAI-1 cells in the blood, the higher the risk for a blood clot that leads to a heart attack".
Dr. Frank Scheer, director of the Medical Chronobiology Program at Brigham and Women’s and co-author of the paper, said in a press release:
“Our findings suggest that the circadian system, or the internal body clock, may contribute to the increased risk for cardiovascular events in the morning.”

A beautiful love story. This is my patient Naseema. Just look at her husband, he waits all day outside the ICU just to meet her once and when I allowed him to take her for a walk, he was really happy and thankful. The way he was looking at her was so magical that I secretly clicked the moment. (I took permission before sharing this)

relaxation in question papers in board exams this year:
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday announced a 40 percent virtual syllabus relaxation for the upcoming class 10 and 12 annual exams, ten percent more than the discount announced earlier.
The announcement was made by K K Sharma, advisor to the J&K Lieutenant Governor who hold the School Education portfolio on Twitter.
“BOSE increases relaxation by 40%, Students to attempt 60% marks which will be raised to 100%. Done in interest of Students, ” Sharma wrote on Twitter.
The announcement came shortly after the J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) notified the class 10 and 12 annual regular examination date sheets for this year.
Earlier this year, the then Principal Secretary School Education, Asgar Hassan Samoon announced a 30 percent relaxation in the syllabus for the twin exams in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The announcement was followed by a JKBOSE notification which said that the students appearing in the exams need to attempt only 70 percent questions, which will be raised to 100 percent marks.
Now, following Sharma’s announcement over additional 10 percent relaxation, the board is expected to issue the notification in this regard.

Kashmir based NGO to hold Nikkah ceremony of over 15 couples in Srinagar

Srinagar, Oct 20: A Kashmir based NGO is going to organize a Nikkah ceremony of over 15 couples in Srinagar in November to promote simple Nikkah ceremonies in the valley.

Chairman of the NGO “We The Helping Hand”, Umar Wani while taking with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that their aim is just to promote simple Nikkah in Kashmir and anyone who wants to perform his/her Nikkah in this ceremony, can contact them. “On November 21st we are going to organize the Nikkah ceremony of over 15 couples.”

He added that if there is any girl who is unable to perform her Nikkah due to financial and dowry like issues, the NGO is ready to help her and will bear all the expenses, besides her identity will be kept hidden.

“All arrangements including the expenses of hiring a place, presence of prominent muftis and molvis besides arrangements of lunch and tea will be borne by the organization, he said

He said that this ceremony is being organized only to promote the culture of simple Nikkah so that the society will not face the burden of dowry and any sister will not remain unmarried.

“You know in Srinagar only, there are over 35 thousand girls who are overage now but due to financial and dowry issues, they are yet to get married,” he said, adding that there is need to promote simple Nikkah so that no one faces any such situation in the future.

“Everyone must promote this and perform Nikkah with simplicity so that any girl will not remain unmarried due to these social evils,” he said—(KNO)
