Liquor stores have to exhaust their stock by the end of March as licenses will be renewed in the new financial year, said a liquor vend employee in East Delhi, reported news agency PTI. “There are also certain brands that have not picked up sale and retailers want to dispose them off through discounts and special offers like ‘buy one, get one free’,” he said.

The former IPS had alleged that the deceased woman had made objectionable statements against his family. Several audio and videos related to the case had also gone viral.
The deceased rape victim, a resident of Bettiah, was a student of Uday Pratap College in Varanasi. On May 1, 2019, She had filed a case in Lanka police station against MP Atul Rai for alleged sexual assault.
The BSP MP had been lodged in Naini Central Jail in Prayagraj for the last two years. He had surrendered in Varanasi court.
