We are thrilled to announce Vanessa Francoise Rothe is now contributing editor at Modern Impressionist Magazine. Rothe is a renowned curator, editor/writer, lecturer and fine artist, with particular knowledge on contemporary realism and on the French and American Impressionists.

Rothe has earned numerous degrees related to business, writing and publishing. With dozens of published articles, as contributing editor to various fine art magazines in America over the last 20 years, and with acclaimed articles on contemporary Realism, Impressionism and art history, as well as a monthly column on how to run your art business, Rothe now also takes her place as contributing editor here at Modern Impressionist magazine.

Along with her own successful fine art career and editorial work, she has curated countless exhibitions from LA, to Paris, to NYC, and has founded an international fine art project, The Americans in Paris, which aims to bring the rich history and culture of France to the American canvasthrough art retreats and exhibitions. She is a member of the American Friends of the Musée D’Orsay, a signature member of the American Impressionist Society and served as its Educational Director for 4 years.  As an artist member, she has also served as Vice Chair of the Public Relations at the Salmagundi Club in New York. Vanessa has been honored to give official tours of the Musée D Orsay, France, lectured at the Laguna Art Museum, The Hilbert Museum and several times at the Salmagundi Club. She is an Artist Ambassador for Rembrandt Royal TalensNA, and Raymar panels. She continues to share her expertise by writing, curating exhibitions, presenting educational lectures, and teaching fine art lessons in Europe with Workshops in France.

We are excited to include Rothe’s experience in writing, publishing background, and art world knowledge here at the magazine, as she covers today’s masters and presents educational and inspiring details on the historical Impressionists, with her unique and colorful articles
