CCC OFFICIAL SATMYS HWENDE TO FACE THE MUSIC

The CCC executive is plotting a vote of no confidence against their Secretary General, Charlton Hwende.

This comes amidst a social media storm following Hwende's utterances in which he is alleged to be deviating from the norms, ethics and party's founding principles of opposing , challenging anything good that is aimed at redressing Zimbabwe's challenges as well as propelling a Eurocentric regime change stance.

In a tweet, Hwende criticised former Rhodesia and racist settler Ian Smith saying that " Smith hated black people he killed our people because they were black to me he was just a dog not worth of my respect".
Yes , it is the same Ian Smith who was responsible for the mass slaughter and killings of blacks at the freedom camps such as Chimoio and also depriving Africans of their God given birthright and treated them mercilessly by pushing them to the peripheral and infertile reserves where production was limited.

The issue which has been dominant and doing circles on various platform in the past days has divided social media users.

It is from this that Hwende's problems which are high likely to end his political career in the CCC emanated from.

An insider in the Executive pointed that he (Hwende ) is believed to be both a Zanu PF project and belonging to the Welshman Ncube cabal which has taken a similar stance to Zanu PF on this issue.

" The top officials are suspicious of him , they have always been but his recent stance shows that he is indeed working hand in hand with Zanu PF and Welshman Ncube".

" Everyone is convinced that he is a Zanu PF project and wants to destroy the party from within", he added.

He further revealed that CCC President, Nelson Chamisa, has been on record praising Ian Smith is very furious about Hwende's utterances.
" Chamisa is an angry man and l doubt that this time he will let what SG Hwende did just slide".

The source disclosed that Chamisa called for a meeting to discuss the issue after a storm on twitter. "Hwende has always known and understood where our loyalty as CCC's lie and discrediting Smith like that leaves a lot to be desired", Chamisa said.
A CCC official who spoke to this publication highlighted that their party has maintained its Eurocentric narrative and has always abided by it.

"We are rather surprised by how SG Hwende is behaving; we do not condone what Hwende is doing. He must remember that this is a people's revolution different from other parties".

Since its inception, CCC has been vocal in promoting regime change agenda which is influenced by their European allies.

TOE SELLING BUSINESS: A CCC AND AMERICAN EMBASSY-INSPIRED GIMMICK

The toe-selling stories have been trending on social media since late last week. Some even claimed the biggest toes were fetching as high as USD$40 000. But is this a genuine social ill haunting Zimbabwe? This reporter explored this vexing question and unearthed that Mnangagwa's government was deliberately targeted by his prime political opponents.

Investigations revealed CCC's hand was driving the seemingly innocuous story as part of its strategy to discredit Mnangagwa and his government.

In turn, Zimbabweans, most of whom are Christians are fuming at this revelation. Citizens interviewed by this reporter in Harare castigated the CCC party and its allies for peddling lies meant to portray citizens in the country as extremely poor that they are compelled to embark on a ritualistic toe-selling business. The lies are part of the narrative to project a negative and gloomy picture of the country to sustain their negative publicity project against the country.

This comes at a time when the strong winds of regime change are hovering over the country following a spate of lies on social media instigated, and expectedly, by the CCC and their usual handlers to demonize and unashamedly manufacture a co-relation between the rituals to ZANU-PF rule.

All these pathetic lies have George Soros Group fingerprints all over and meant to discredit what President Mnangagwa and his administration is doing for the people inorder to make Vision 2030 a reality and leaving no place and no one behind.

An undisclosed source confirmed to this reporter that they have been paid huge amounts of money to tarnish and soil the President's image through disseminating fake information about the ongoing toe-selling business.
" We had a meeting with the CCC leadership, American embassy officials and a group of dodgy traditional healers where we were recruited for a mission to tarnish the image of Zimbabwe. They want to blame it all on Mnangagwa", he said.

The source further added that numerous agents stationed at Ximex Mall were also present at the meeting where they received USD payouts to implement the nefarious plan."

Another source said there is nothing as toe-selling business but it is regime change itinerary and he regrets being part of it.

" I got involved in this not knowing the repercussions and l regret my association with CCC. I betrayed my parents, both of whom fought against coloniliasm".

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), a US government department responsible for administering overseas aid in Zimbabwe, has lodged a report against the Crisis Coalition Zimbabwe to both the Zimbabwe Republic Police and to the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission.

This follows a forensic audit into funds given to the NGO that were meant for the voter mobilization exercise ahead of the 2023 elections. The audit report unearthed that a staggering USD$2,6 million could not be accounted for.

Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition is a conglomeration of more than 80 civil society organizations in Zimbabwe working for democratic change. The Coalition works on human rights issues, democratic governance, political freedom, women’s rights, electoral reform, and constitutional reform.

The damning audit report has implicated Rashid Mahiya. Initially, Mahiya was asked to refund the misappropriated funds but could not deliver.

Indications are that Crisis Coalition Zimbabwe, acting upon Mahiya's durectives, wantonly abused the funds and failed to deploy agents on the ground. Instead, fictitious reports from “bogus or ghost” field agents were submitted much to the annoyance of the USAID project management team.

After failing to secure the refund, the USAID took the unprecedented step of reporting the matter to both the Police, and to the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission.

USAID, who were put under pressure by the US Foreign Office, to monitor the progress and activities of Crisis Coalition Zimbabwe on the voter registration process, requested for information for the funded activities but no proper explanation was given for the embezzled funds following the forensic audit.

It became clear from the onset that funds were misappropriated and agents were not deployed as funded. Crisis Coalition Zimbabwe failed to provide information even for work done on minimum requirements. It is at this stage that alarm was raised and a forensic audit was ordered and commissioned.

“USAID is demanding a refund for the $2,6 million stolen and wishes to pursue to its logical conclusion the theft of public(foreign) funds,” the source at USAID Zimbabwe revealed.

“We have precedence, wherever public funds are stolen we demand a refund and pursue the legal route to recover the stolen funds.” He added.
