New work for filming with . I'm really happy with how our shots turned out. We we're going for a natural look which I think we achieved. The main setup was an 8x8 scrimmy jimmy with diffusion and an Orion 675fs with a fresnel for an edge. That light paired with the fresnel is magic.
and .rapp both killed it as cam ops and the many other roles they filled. directed and produced which made the day a breeze as usual. Great day.

New work for at the engineering lab. I’m really happy with how these shots turned out. The whole thing was lit by tubes! Save for a couple MCs in the back.

Got to meet and film his talk a couple weeks ago at . Also got a signed copy of his book.
He’s a really down to earth guy and, if you don’t know, a ridiculously talented helicopter pilot who does stunt work in Hollywood!

- Key Light: Big b***y softbox (60") on a Forza 300 with double diffusion and a grid
- Rim Light: Pavotube (4') set to 2700k to add some separation

First paid gig I got to shoot on my Aivascope Anamorphic lens. Paired with the Super Takumar lenses and the Mavo LF, the Aivascope is looking really sweet!

You know, I'm wrapping up the wedding film part of my business this summer to focus more on commercial work, but this wedding has me wanting to jump right back in.

Got to sit down and talk with Tim Leatherman himself! It was pretty incredible to listen to his story and then tour the Leatherman production facility and see how far the company has come. Obviously this 1-minute spot can't cover the breadth of Tim's story, but it really is awe-inspiring. It took 8 years, until Tim and his buisness partner Steve Berliner, got their first purchase order for the Leatherman Pocket Survival Tool or PST. During those 8 years, Tim's wife Chau supported them financially. Just a lot of hard work and perseverance that truly paid off.
