May our expectations not be cut short in Jesus name.

How do you while away the time or stay hopeful when you're expecting a result/good news???

Either a medical result, examination result, or those clients that often say, "I will get back to you month end..."

How do you cope? 🤦😂

Meet Davido’s biological mother, Dr. Veronica Hailey Imade who died at age 39.

Find out why he named his two daughters after her – Aurora Imade Adeleke (9 yrs old, born by Sophia Momodu) and Hailey Veronica Adeleke (7yeara old, born by Amanda Brown)

Dr. Veronica Hailey Imade Adeleke was a Nigerian Singer, Doctor and lecturer at Babcock University.
mother of a Nigerian Afro singer.

She gave birth to him on November 21st, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The family of Adeleke family would later move back to their native country.

The late mother of the popular Nigerian superstar was a music lover, just like her son. In the 90s, she had a brilliant music career and owned a record label. She was also part of a band named “David’s Band.”

Aside from that, she also had a security company named after her son, which was called “David’s security”.

Veronica Imade met the father of Davido, the influential billionaire Adedeji Adeleke in the 80s. They fell in love and got married. Together, Veronica and Adedeji had two children: David and Sharon.

Her husband, Mr. Adeleke was a donor at Babcock University, where she was a lecturer. At the university, people loved and respected her for who she was – a very bright and loving woman.

On the 6th of March, 2003, an unfortunate incident occurred which left everyone in shock. Davido’s beautiful mother passed away and was coincidentally the 40th birthday of her husband Adedeji Adeleke. She was only 39 years old.

According to Urbanlife, she went to the church in the morning for service and when she came back, she locked herself in a room. A few hours later, she was found dead in her apartment.

The funeral of Veronica Adeleke was held soon after her tragic passing, and her band, “David’s Band”, played there.

It is not surprising that her son decided to pursue a career in music and became successful at it.
May God keep all our Morhers for us

GENERAL KITCHEN TIPS AND TRICKS

1. When a phone falls in water...put it in uncooked bag of rice...the rice sucks off the water.

2. When you garment is stained by biro ink, use white colgate paste or surgical spirit to clear the stain.

3. When iron box is black stained.(kuungua) rub broken chalk or crushed panadol when the iron box is hot to get rid of the black stains.

4. Hydrogen peroxide has many uses :

· First aid for cuts-it stops the bleeding.

· For septic wounds-it helps stem the infection.

· Mouthwash-mix it with water and you have an antibacterial mouthwash.

· Bleach for whites.

5. Boil lemons and put the water in the fridge to remove the food smell. Putting charcoal on the fridge will also absorb the smell too.

6. Baking soda

· Gets the grime of tiles- scrub sink/tiles with a baking soda and vinegar paste.

· It is also a face scrub (mix with water and scrub (very good for oily skin).

· It also removes burnt food on pans (soak the pan in a baking soda and water mix for about 15 minutes and the food will come off easily.

· For acid reflux-mix a pinch of baking soda with water and drink.

· If you have run out of toothpaste u could use baking soda paste to clean your teeth

7. If your clothes get stained by chewing gum, rub ice cube on the stained part and it will peel off. Another remedy is pouring paraffin on the gum and it will come off, then wash the cloth.

8. If your clothes get candle wax , cover garment with a newspaper and iron the wax over the newspaper, the wax melts and the newspaper absorbs it. You can also put the garment inside the freezer. The candle wax will freeze and break off.

9. Microwave cleaner-place a glass bowl filled with a solution of 1/4 cup vinegar in 1 cup water inside, and zap the mixture for five minutes on the highest setting. Once the bowl cools, dip a cloth or sponge into the liquid and use it to wipe away stains and splatters on the interior.
