The Good Samaritan | The Parables Retold Episode 05
How do you accept help from those you believe inferior to you? After being beaten and robbed by a group of youth, James must decide if he will reject help from the very people he hates even after those he trusts have left him gasping for air.

FULL SYNOPSIS
Based on the parable found in Luke 10, this film takes us into the shoes of a white supremacist on his way to a white-power march through the streets of London. However, on his way, he is intercepted by a group of youth who rob him, beat him and leave him for dead in a dark and dingy alleyway.

Desperately grasping at life, James is ignored by those he trusted most and when help comes from the most unexpected of places will he be able to accept the help or drive his saviour away?

A man stumbles over a buried treasure in a field. He is surprised when he finds out the field is for sale, but at what cost?

FULL SYNOPSIS
Based on the parable found in Matthew 13, this follows a family who seem to have everything they could need. Good jobs, education, a nice house, a great car, but when Mark stumbles over a buried treasure in a field on his morning run his world is turned upside down.

He discovers that the local Farmer is selling the field, but the price is unlike anything he has ever heard. Will he and his family choose the wise security of life, or will they foolishly risk it all for a chest in a field?

When our main character finds out that the small blessing she has received rewards her with a massive payout, will she remain loyal to her community or go her own way and live the life she’s always dreamed of?

In this video you'll meet Paul Syrstad (Director) and Shavani Cameron (actor) explain the caution and prayer involved in modernising parts of scripture, the process of working on a project written by someone else, and the depth of the script and characters.

If Angel Studios exercises the option to distribute Testament series, Angel Studios will share in the revenues generated by the series. Testament may also use a portion of the proceeds to repay the loan from Angel Studios.
