[A negative post in PUBG PC esports Malaysia]

I don't want to post and bring any negative images into PUBG pc esports but I would like to share this because it is getting ridiculous.

So basically the story will start with a PUBG pc online charity tournament in 2020 May. It is hosted by gaming and running well during MCO. It is not free tournament, every team have to pay entry fee for it. Everything goes smooth and good. Tournament stream is good, everyone looks supportive. After few day of intense matches, me and my team (PMA) managed to get 1st place in this tournament. Organizer promise us they will be sending their prizes to us in June (within 1month after the tournament).

After that, the organizer ( gaming) just went disappear for all team for 1st - 7th place team. We couldn't get to contact with organizer and claim our prize. Even their facebook is stopped updating when the tournament finished. I have contacted organizer's friend saying that don't worry just wait.

After 3months in August./Sept, finally I received a mail from organizer(I am surprised). Organizer saying that they are sorry, they have issues with the "prize sponsor", they promise they will give the prize in Sept.

Unconsciously it is been around 6 months+ and we are still waiting. We would like to get contact with the organizer about the update. So we decide to talk something in the discord.

And we got the reply from his friend saying that "Don't talk so much if you think they are scam, we refund you the entry fee. Your prize will not be claimed". So I am suppose to keep quiet not even asking anything since it is been 6months?

So this charity tournament is a SCAM?
It is not, why organizer side did not update anything for all team?
we waited for 6months+, why can't bother to ask or update from organizer. As a player what should I do?

Ended up 2nd place
