Been quiet on here as of late but be assured, the grind hasn’t stopped!

Today marks my 1 year anniversary working for Jellysmack and being able to work as a Video Editor full time!

I’m loving working with the different content creators in the Sports & Adventure pod, with the smashes continuing to increase - as shown by my first weekly podium finish for last week!

Was great to pick up the camera for the first time in a while, capturing final game of the season, as they finished unbeaten champions! ⚽️🏆

Earlier this month, I got a video to hit the 1 million views mark for the first time! Proud achievement and one that resulted in my first “Smash” for Jellysmack, with a smash rate of over 434%!

The hard work I’m putting in is seeing results, with another Josh Horton video I had posted last week, has received a smash as well!

Plenty more is on the way!🔥🚀

Long time since posting on this account, but I want get back to using it for updates on my work!

It’s now been 5 months since I joined Jellysmack, which has allowed me to go full time as a Video Editor! Loving being a part of their sports and adventure pod, taking videos from YouTube and re-editing them for Facebook, Instagram & Tiktok.

I’ve just added some screen grabs from videos of some of the creators I’ve worked with. Amazing to edit creators such as who I’ve watched for nearly 5 years now, helping them grow on other platforms besides YouTube!

Over the past month, I have been working with 3D Tudor , editing his huge 171 lesson course for Blender, Creating a Medieval Castle Kit Bash!

I have been able to see through the edit how great the castle has developed over time and it's certainly worth checking out! Neil is a great teacher and his lessons are easy to follow along, so if you decide to take part in the course, you'll having no problem getting your castle looking as good as it does in the picture!

Award’s Season is upon us! The Golden Globes took place over the weekend - with films such as Nomandland and Borat winning big! Can't say I enjoyed the sequel as much as the 1st, but great to see Cohen picking up two awards on the night.

A certain pandemic has pushed back release dates of many films, which has led to a rather small sample size of films I've seen that were released in 2020.

My favourite I've seen so far is "Big Time Adolescence" - starring Griffin Gluck & Pete Davidson. The unorthodox pairing works well between the actors, as both look set for bigger roles in the near future. An easy watch, worth checking out as its now streaming on Now TV.

Some big injuries have occurred recently to big stars from different sports, including Anthony Davis & Neymar. Whilst Lebron and Mbappe have kept their teams going for now, who knows what the impact of these injuries could lead to for the rest of the season.

The Super Bowl is coming up later this evening, featuring a big QB battle between Tom Brady & Patrick Mahomes.

Worked on a video this weekend for in which he details the psychology on why they’re both clutch performers and ultimately, whom performs best in pressure situations.

In recent years, we've seen a rise in Hollywood Films edited through Adobe Premiere Pro. Examples include Deadpool (timeline pictured), Gone Girl and Terminator: Dark Fate.

Could we see more films edited through Adobe, compared to the industry standard Avid? Could the likes of DaVinci Resolve (outside of colour grading) or even Final Cut Pro make a play in Hollywood over the next decade? What do people reckon.

Since November, I have been working with the 3D Tudor, helping edit his Blender 2.9 Tutorials. This is the 2nd course I've helped work on, which features detailed lessons on how to make a 3D Model of a Hobbit Door Scene. The course can be found on Udemy & Skillshare.
