This afternoon around 3:15pm Orange County Fire Authority Engine 22 and Truck 22 responded to a vehicle fire at Alicia and Hon Ave in the parking lot of Little Ceasers. Units arrived to find the front end of a mini van fully engulfed and started to extend to another mini van parked next to it. Quick work by firefighters knocked down the fire in just a few minutes and prevented other vehicles from catching fire. Traffic control assistance provided by OCSD - Laguna Hills Police Services Cause is unknown.

Edited: sadly this was a fatal fire per OCFA, Cuase is still unknown currently

last night around 2:30am Orange County Fire Authority responded to its 4th confirmed structure fire in South OC. Units arrived and upgraded to a 2 alarm due to the size of the fire. More info to come.

Orange County Fire Authority putting all there hard training to work today. another confirmed structure fire at 5:30pm today. This was a Bedroom contents fire, firefighters had knockdown minutes after arrival and contained the fire to the room.

2nd update on the structure fire directly from Orange County Fire Authority

San Clemente - Our dispatchers and firefighters were busy this afternoon when a second working structure fire broke out shortly after 2:00 PM in the 100 block of W Escalones. Engine 60 arrived to find a two story residential structure that began on the first floor and rapidly spread to the room above. Due to a rapid attack, firefighters were able to prevent the blaze from extending to the adjacent structure that was taking on heat and surrounding wires and trees. One person was assessed by firefighter paramedics, but declined to be transported to the hospital. The Red Cross was requested to assist residents who were displaced. The cause is under investigation.
